ABC to Air Once Upon a Time Mini Marathon on September 9

According to Once Upon a Fan, ABC is airing the final four episodes of OUAT Season 1 from 7 to 11 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 9.

Here’s the lineup:

7 p.m. — "The Return"
8 p.m. — "The Stranger"
9 p.m. — "An Apple Red As Blood"
10 p.m. — "A Land Without Magic"

Since the Season 1 finale aired in May, it will be good to have all the info fresh in our minds before the Season 2 premiere on Sunday, September 30.

But don’t forget, Season 1 is coming out on DVD on August 28 — just two weeks from today — in case you want to watch more than the last four episodes (plus bonus content) and analyze everything for clues on what’s going to happen next.

Once Upon a Time Season 2 premieres on September 30, 2012 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

I wish ABC would re-air the whole season but that doesn't seem likely.

I do, too. I think it would gain a lot more fans since this is a show you just can't jump in and start watching halfway through. I wanted to catch up on Revenge this summer during reruns because I've been told it's fantastic and since it's airing right after OUaT this year, but they never reran that either. So now I've got to decide whether I should just get the dvd of the show or not.

I know for a fact I'm getting OUaT dvd. I'm missing four shows from my collection because I didn't tape it in the beginning, and now I need to rewatch the pilot and a few others.

Storybrooke is taking over the network!

We were already excited for both the Once Upon a Time Season 1 DVD release on August 28 and the mini OUAT marathon coming to ABC on September 9. And now we’re as happy as Grumpy on Opposite Day because ABC has also decided to air reruns of OUAT starting this Sunday at 8 p.m.

ABC released a press release today about the program change. Episode 7, "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter," will air this Sunday, August 19 from 8 to 9 p.m. instead of the previously scheduled program, Secret Millionaire. Episode 8, "Desperate Souls," will air the following Sunday, August 26.

Then things get a bit tricky ‘cause the next episode to air, on September 2, is reportedly Episode 10, "7:15 a.m." The week after that is the mini marathon, which is said to include the final four episodes, 19-22. What about the first six episodes, Episode 9 and Episodes 11-18? It’s not clear. But Season 2 begins on September 30, so they have two more Sundays to fill between the marathon and the premiere. We can’t wait to see what happens next!

Yikes...will that mess up the rewatching schedule on here? Because Skin Deep is on the schedule for Sunday and I really need to talk about it in chat.

When I added these dates to my gmail calendar, there is overlap. The Heart is a Lonely Hunter comes on the same night as Skin Deep, and the following Sunday is Desperate Souls.

Sept 2 ABC will re-air 7:15 (Red-Handed re-watch)
You can DVR the old episodes and watch them later if you like. I know I will not miss Skin Deep b/c I still have it on my DVR.
