I also love Belle. I'll be so heartbroken is she's killed off in the season finale. I'd hate if we were forced to wait all season for her return only for her to be killed as soon as she walks out of the asylum.

Me, too. But on the other hand if she died, it would further fuel Rumpel to take down the Queen.

The fact that Regina had Belle locked up all along and had led Rumpel to believe she was dead is probably more than enough for Rumpel to want revenge without adding Belle's death on top of that.

Just thinking back to Regina's and Belle's conversation in Skin Deep, makes me wonder, did Regina know who Belle was even though she had supposedly just met her?

I can't remember Regina's exact line but it was something like: "I would never suggest a woman kiss a man who held her captive. What kind of message is that?"

How did Regina know Belle had been taken by Rumpel as payment and was she actually hoping Belle's kiss would take away Rumpel's powers? How did Regina know the kiss would even stand a chance of working?

I think she did. Remember, Belle uncovered that big window and supposedly, the Queen can look through any reflective surface and spy on people. I'm guessing that's how she recognized who Belle was.

Though I love seeing Rumple go eye to eye with Regina, I don't want the cost being Belle's life. That's too much.

On one of Jane Espenson's tweets she was asked how big of a role Belle would play in the finale...she replied that we would be satisfied with her scenes..something to that effect

Oh yeah, I read those tweets. She also gave another interview saying that Belle's role in the finale would also be "very significiant."
