This is great! We need a relationship thread or two in here.

Personally, I really like the romance between Belle and Rumpel. I think it's very tragic and romantic. I also love how the writers made Belle such an integral part of Rumpel life. Before Skin Deep aired, the possibility of Rumpel being in love would had never crossed my mind. Great job on the part of the writers.

OMG! Thanks for creating this thread! I love rumbelle! Its absolutely amazing how much fan fiction, fan vids and fan art has poured out since the Skin Deep episode for them. Even RC said in Paley that he was overwhelmed by the response.

I also saw that interview. I'm glad he knows about all the fans he has.

And yes, the fan fiction and artwork that has been created over this one single episode has been amazing! I'm just praying the writers don't destroy a good thing and kill poor Belle. But according to recent tweets from Emilie de Raven, she'll be in plenty of future episodes. PRAISE JESUS!!!

I was debating where to put this, but if Belle does get out of that asylum and supposing she has her memories and she meets Gold at one point, do you think she'd actually know who he is? Gold looks a lot different than he did as Rumple and even his voice has a different, uhm, color, for wont of a better term. Sure this is supposing a lot, but I was pondering over this. Would he approach her first? Would she believe who he was? Or would she know immediately.

I hope they interact in the finale, but I'm expecting them not to. I don't want to get my hopes up too high only for their connection to be eyes meeting and maybe one word spoken in the very last second before the credits.

Knowing Regina, she's probably done something to ensure Belle knows who Rumpel/Gold is, memory or not. Belle is either Regina's insurance to keep him in check or an attack plan should he decide to outright go against her. I'm pretty sure Regina's interactions with Belle in the psych ward consist of more than just looking through the peep hole, especially if Regina's the only one who has visited her.

I forget whose theory it was, but it would make sense that Belle does remember FT and would probably recognize who Mr. Gold is if she met him again. But I think it would be interesting if she partially remembered, leaving it open for Gold to possible rewrite their happy ending or create a new happy ending for them in Storybrooke.

FYI, since I became hooked on rumbelle, I've been reading a lot of rumbelle fanfiction, so I created a "favorite rumpbelle fanfiction master list" which I will post here once I fix the html coding.
