I actually wrote this last week but it was such a busy weekend I couldn't post it right away. it's mine rumbelle fanfic prompt

I know this is weird but has anyone looked at screen shots for the scenes in the forest and noticed how freakishly similar they are to scenes from Twilight??? Especially the scenes from New Moon where Edward is telling Bella he is leaving?? Rumple is even wearing the same dark suit that Edward wears and Belle is standing with the same posture. I think there is even a screen shot where Rumple has his hand on Belle's cheek and it is exactly the same as when Edward puts his hand on Bella's cheek. I knew something about the screen shots seemed really familiar to me yesterday and I finally figured it out. I don't know how to put screen shots in my posts so I can't add them but if you search on-line you will see what I mean.

I was pleasantly surprised about how much screen time they had in the finale. All scenes were heartbreaking I still cant believe that happened. Now I guess Mr Gold will become Rumple again because he will have magic. I can see there will be a lot of problems with that relationship. Rumple being The dark one again for one, not to mention he nearly beat her father to death and if Belle ever finds out what happened to Gaston...But I just hope they will be together at the end. Best couple on the show

I was really surprised that we saw them together at all. I thought Belle's one scene would be Jefferson telling her to find Gold. When she walked into that shop.... :') I really hope Rumple isn't going to go all "Dark One" on us cause now that he has Belle back, I kinda just need them to stay together for my sanity. (I have far too much invested in this couple).

Somebody posted this . . . somewhere . . . I've read so many posts about Rumple and Belle's reunion that I can't remember where it was posted so my apologies for not giving credit to the person who brought it up: Rumple was way overly protective of Bae. Now he's promised to protect Belle after he will most likely feel at least somewhat responsible for what happened to her because he kicked her out of his rather large estate. I'm feeling as if that can only lead to another psycho-overly protective Rumple situation - however, in this case it is with Belle, who is super independent and has made it quite clear in the past that she does not want to be treated to like a damsel in distress who cannot take care of herself. Keep in mind she told Gold that she was told he would protect her BEFORE she remembered who she really was. Even though my heart melted when he told her he would protect her - I predict very bad things will happen because of that.

But I know what you mean. Hopefully...HOPEFULLY...Belle can get him to ease up a bit with the whole protection thing. But I do seem him trying to overly protect her since he's got to be filled with guilt and remorse over thinking he had basically sent her to her death.

I completely agree. I could picture them getting into an argument about that. But getting into a fight about how Rumple really wants Belle safe is not the worst thing in the world. ...I'm sure Belle will see he deeply cares about her. But like rumplegoldfan said, she is an independent woman, who after a while will not want to be taken care of. But who knows, after all the pain she has been through, she probably will appreciate someone finally looking out for her, at least in the beginning.

Mr. Gold and Belle were AMAZING in the season finale. Mr. Gold's face when he saw Belle for the first time was heartbreaking. He literally could not believe his eyes. He had to touch her and ask if she was real to make sure that he wasn't seeing things. And the tears. Even when Mr. Gold is crying tears of joy, it still makes me sad.

I wonder if we're going to see a darker Belle in season 2? After being kept in a mental asylum for 28 years and living with Mr. Gold, Belle's innocence will probably be shattered.

Though I would suggest that Mr. Gold and Mo take turns beating Regina with Mr. Gold's cane
