Where is Frederick?

The credits for episode 19 listed the actor who plays Frederick/Jim, the love interest of Abigail/Kathryn. I wonder if there was a scene or scenes with him in it that got cut. I also wonder what role, if any, he may have had in saving Kathryn. The last time we saw him in episode 13, he was driving for some unknown reason on the road leading out of SB when he happened upon Kathryn's car. Maybe he isn't as significant a minor character as originally thought.

I completely expected to see him in the hospital, but nope . . .

I did too. Maybe they will get a scene at some point, but i am not sure how much time they have for that.

Apparently he's the gym teacher at the school

I expected to see him in this episode too. It creeped me out the way Kathryn looked at Dr. Whale. GAG ME. I think she was just supposed to look grateful for him nursing her back to health but there was really this vibe of attraction that gives me the heebie jeebies.
