I DO NOT GET IT... a lot of people in the chat room and on the blogs say... WHY DOES EMMA NOT BELIEVE ??? I do not know what evidence is she suppose to be believing.

A book that contains fairy-tales, folk lore but not necessarily history or logical facts.

Yes, Emma knows Regina is evil, but I am sure in her job as a bounty hunter Emma knew people in the real world that was just as bad and did worse things. ( Remember, she has no way of knowing what occurred in FTL except the book.) She has know way of knowing Regina and EQ are the same person.

What evidence has been presented to her that FTL existed?
What evidence has presented to her that Snow and James are her parents?
What evidence has been presented to her that magic exists?

I just do not get it .... WHY should Emma believe?

I agree with you, charming - with the aliens example too! - what does it take to change completely your comprehension of life and the world you live in? A lot, I would say.

I guess everyone is just getting frustrated. I know I am, but I'm sure that it will all pan out in the end and definitely make it worthwhile. I'm sure Emma believes at least a little bit, sure she's there for Henry but it seems to me like sometimes she does believe that MM is her mother. Time will tell!

Honestly, I just wish Emma would take the time to investigate what she is being told by Henry, August, and Jefferson....even if she doesn't believe...instead of just brushing it off.

I do not know it is still a hard sell. It would take lets say.... Belle who she dioes not know that had escaped from the mental ward of the hospital to tell her. Emma goes with hard evidence and Henry and August are not good witnesses. she needs someone who she just met to confirm what Henry, August and Jefferson has said.
