This is such a sweet moment of Grandma reading to her grandson. It closely resembles the scene of MM reading to David when he was in a comma. I wonder if MM will be the next to "wake up" after re-reading the story of how Prince Charming saved her from the very same kind of sleep Henry is in.

I love how Emma glances at Henry's book and finally says "It's like magic" concerning Henry's condition. I think she finally is allowing herself to believe! I think the next thing we'll see is the scene from the promo in which Emma touches Henry's book and there is a flash as the book lights up! It could be the moment we've all been waiting for the entire season: Emma becomes a true believer! Also, I think that Dr. Whale isn't very trustworthy. If I were Emma, I'd ask for a second opinion!

I agree about that second opinion. Although, do we think hospital equipment could detect magic. It was probably the writers way of keeping the time shorter and on track for what they need to accomplish in the finale.

Understatement of the century! He probably recognised that thing as being made by Regina, maybe she even gave him the heads up that if Sheriff Swan was rushed into the ER, don't worry 'bout it coz she just made her a "special" apple turnover. He discounted it waaaaay too quickly then tried to distract Emma by asking what else it could be.

Glad she didn't buy it when the doctor tried to discard the idea he ate the thing & collapsed that's pretty straightforward!

Yeah. It is just good dialogue when the characters say what you think because that means they are on the wave length. It is like knowing all that Emma has seen that that would be her next thought.
