Would you like our own chat room?

I'm considering the cost of adding an additional chat room to the site (costs an extra $2 per month). It would be present on only the forums (probably), but it could be a footer-locked chatroom where you and anyone else in the forums could chat without having to visit the Noodle.mx Network chat page.

It would only require logging into the forums, and it would use your forum name and even your forum picture.

I don't think I could make this same forum integration work outside of /forums/ on ONCEpodcast.com unless I get the extra-beefy package for $12 more per month.

That sounds like it would be fun! It would be especially nice for those of us who are usually busy during OUaT and podcast episodes. However, if only 3 of us want it, it's probably not worth the cost.

I second Lisa. I'd love it (if there'd be people on, when I'm on, what with the time difference and all). Maybe you could also do a poll, asking people if they'd use the chat, if there was any. We'd just have to be careful to post the good theories and discussions on the forums as well, or other people (who weren't in the chat) would get left out.

I do not know enough about the process / options to say if I would use it.... as is OUAT chat is about the only one I have tried using.... I can use yours but can never use the one at ROONIEZONE.... it is just to hard to use and is annoying.

I think a lot of people do not use function that are not user friendly.

If I added this, it would be the same kind of chat room as we use for the live show. But on the forums, it would automatically use your forum name and picture instead of custom nicknames.

I would really like this idea since I can't always get home on time from work for the scheduled chats.

I like the idea of being able to chat with other Oncers, however the one on noodle.mx appears to be using a twitter platform and therefore I can't use it. Will it be the same for the one you are planning on adding to the forum page? I know this is only an issue if you live in a country where twitter, FB and the likes are blocked and most of your listeners probably are not. So in that case you can just ignore my comment

Chat room would be cool/nice/rockin/rad/phat/awesome/tubular/neato/damfine...get the picture? Where the heck is it? Speaking of heck, where is Hades, and Hercules...dang, more theories!
