Feel free to write in. The poll creator limit me to 10, so I couldn't fit in Granny or Leroy or...

I chose Mr. Gold. Even though he's (in his own words) a difficult man to love, he hasn't been able to push me away. I'm here to stay, Mr. Gold. :D

I have to say that my emotions with several characters ran the gamut this season. I loved both August and Jefferson in their beginnings, but my feelings for them kind of flattened out more toward the end. Mr. Gold is a constant, expecting him to do what is in his interests but not knowing what that is. Regina makes a great villian. But in the end I have to say that Ruby and the revelation of her wolfishness, Henry's bravery and consistent belief, and Emma's journey won me over.

Make no mistake though, I think the all the characters are outstanding. They did a great job casting this show. :D

Gold. I could give a long list of reasons, but they all boil down to the same thing: Robert Carlyle's performance.

I chose Mr. Gold for his snarky potency, his tragic love story, and his polluted devotion to his son.

I chose Regina for her complexity, her willingness to take down entire realms to soothe her hurt feelings, and her polluted devotion to her son.

I chose Archie because he is adorable and deserves his own story arc and not just to be a conscience for everyone else.

I chose Mr. Gold and Jefferson. I love how similar their stories are. The loss of their children drove them both to madness. Love the tragic parallels.

Hmmm....you think we favor Rumple/Mr. Gold in this forum? I wonder which character in fandom has the biggest following. I know there are EvilRegals and Dearies and Snowings, but is it dependent on where you visit. Seems we're a bunch of Dearies here, including me since I picked Mr. Gold. I keep linking it back to the "Snape factor". The character isn't classically gorgeous, a "good guy", or even really likable, but you just can't help but be entranced by him. He's utterly mesmerizing, whether he's doing evil, being morally gray, or being kind to Henry.

Regina is a great character in SB. She is the EQ all right, but she truly has her moments. I would never forgive her for what she did and yet I can't but feel sorry for her. Wonderfully complex.

Mary Margaret drives me crazy sometimes, but that's the curse. I like how she started to change with Emma's arrival.

Emma also drives me crazy, lol. Then again, I love the way her countenance changes, depending on who she's dealing with. It's interesting to see how she deals with the different situations as she didn't have "normality" growing up.

Archie, David, and Emma. Those three are probably the most honorable people on the show. Not to say MM is not honorable, but I had only three choice so picked them. With these three, I feel that I can talk freely and be quite interested what they have to say and learn from them. I might get a little jealous of how perfect MM is and that's why I didn't pick her. Archie would be such a cool guy to be friends with. He can guide you to the right path and all. David is charming and sweet, which would make my day. Emma is just a loyal and strong friend. I really enjoy characters that I can relate to.

May be my choice is not original but, nevertheless, I choose Emma. She is a strong personality with tender heart - it is a rare combination of qualities.
