Creepy adopted kids

Postby obisgirl » May 5, 2012, 7:43 am

I posted this in the live chat during the podcast but the chat goes by so fast, probably not everyone saw it. Here's a screencap of the emo adopted kids in that scene where Pinnochio decided he'd rather live his own life than take care of baby Emma like he promised.

My memory was that the girls were twins but the girl on the right, looks mean

and there's another kid on the far left.

It seems so bizarre because he just met the kids. Though that is what Pinocchio did as well.

We don't know how long he and Emma had been living there though.

this is something that actually bothered be a bit - their life in the orphanage was so superficially depicted. we don't know how they've been there for, or if everyone was as rude as that janitor, etc.

I got the impression that they were in a foster home and that man was the foster dad, but I could be wrong. Especially since they showed us so little. :)

Actually, I don't think it would have been too bad for them cause they would have been transferred to another Foster home before too long to avoid potential attachment issues. Of course they wouldn't have bothered to keep Pinocchio and Emma together since I don't get the impression that Pinocchio told the authorities that they were brother and sister to ensure they weren't separated.

Although, honestly, I'm surprised Emma wasn't rapidly adopted being a healthy newborn baby. it just doesn't make sense that she would be left inside the Foster Care for any extended length of time.

Emma was adopted. And then her adopted parents sent her back when she turned three because they had their own biological child and after that Emma was moved around form foster home to foster home.
