Baelfire
Re: Baelfire
i think Baelfire was turned into ageless object or animal until he came in contact with Emma. i prefer a frog but anything will do.

Re: Baelfire
So, are we all on agreeance that Baelfire is Henry's father? Wouldn't it be something if the writers surprise us and Bae turns out to be like, Willy Wonka or something?
Ok, maybe not.

Re: Baelfire
It does seem assumed and taken for granted that Bae is Henry's father. I just hope if he was planned to be the father that the writers don't say "Oh crap, they've figured us out, lets not make him the dad anymore." Hopefully, they won't do that.
One side effect, is we're going to think any male from the age of 14-45 (or older) is going to be Bae. When I was watching "The Return", at the very beginning after AFHV's finished and it's credits were rolling sometimes they roll right into OUaT, so I was watching and the credits were done and then BAM! Gulliver's travels scene came on and the first thing the guy said was "I want to go home" and he had brown hair It's Baelfire!
I even picked up the phone to call my dad's girlfriend who watches the show to to say "It's Bae, he's back!" and then this came on:

Then I put the phone back down.
Don't tease me, commercials. I was so ecstatic that Bae was back already, but then I realized it was just a commercial. What a letdown!
In that 5 seconds I had the whole August/Bae working together plot in my head without even watching the episode. Boy was I wrong.

You're right, Josephine, it's August all over again...except we have about 4 additional months (at least) to let the mystery drive us nuts before we find out who Henry's dad is. After getting caught up in the August mystery, I can't go through that hunt again! I 'll be scutinizing every male character--even the redheads, blonds and bald ones, for signs! I'll be spelling characters' names backwards, in case I find the letters BAE..looking up etymologies for every name...I 'll be analyzing license plates, studying props in the background anytime a male is on screen, just in case a there's a sign...what do you wanna bet the writers will tease us by having a stranger walk into Granny's and order a plate of BEANS??? Egads, my li'l ol' heart can't take the wait!

Re: Baelfire
I'm glad I'm not the only one that is obsessed about where Bae is, who Henry's dad is, and if Bae and Henry's dad are one in the same. I really hope that they answer both questions by the end of season 2.
It does seem like every male character has been theorized as Bae, Henry's dad, or both right now, and if they made us wait another season or even longer, I could only imagine how crazy the theories would get especially as they introduce new male characters. For instance, right now I've even seen people theorizing that Ryan, the cheating husband from the pilot, was Henry's dad!
Also, I agree it does seem like a theory that everyone has guessed upon. I've even seen people who don't like the idea grudgingly admit that there's a lot of evidence for it. I also hope that since a lot of people have guessed it, the writers don't go back and change it. Of course, maybe it's just an Internet thing where the casual fan who just follows the show on television and doesn't think too much about it would probably be surprised by the revelation, and while it seems like everyone has figured it out, it would just be a really small portion of viewers which I think happens in any fandom.

If the writers really want to torment us, they'll reveal that Gold's first name is Henry.

Ok...that would be awesome creepy.
I wonder what kind of name Mr. Gold would choose? Henry? Robert? William? I find it nearly impossible to imagine Mr. Gold with a first name.
But then again, his real name is Rumpelstiltskin. So, weirder names have existed.

Re: Baelfire
I think his name is important. The creators have said that we'll find out Charmings name at one point and said the same thing about Gold. I found this on Tumblr that was posted a few days ago where someone asked about just this question:
What is Mr. Gold’s first name?
Adam Horowitz: Hmm… Keep watching.
Why just say "keep watching" when they could just tell us. I need to know. It has to be important if they won't reveal it yet.
I wonder what Baelfire is going by in this world. It can't be that name. Oooh, just a thought, what if it's still an unusual, not strange, just unusual name, and that's Mr. Gold's first name, too. And then Emma hears it and connects it to her baby daddy.

OMG!!! Thank you so much for finding that! I was searching for it all day yesterday. So, we'll definitely find out Mr. Gold's first name next season. Awesome.

Watch-his first name is probably going to be something silly, like Rufus.
