Absolutely I agree with you!!!! That's very insightful. I would never consider that the reflection would be a reference to that.

So are you saying that craziness can manifest as it travels to our world? It becomes more implicit? I would say he would go more crazy seeing that she's happy without him and he doesn't have her.

Your thoughts were really insightful too As for the reflections, I think they represent Jefferson's knowledge that the worlds are very close together and that knowing how close they are, without being able to cross over them, adds a bit to his madness. But it would be interesting if somehow moving between the worlds intensified that madness -- like turning up the dial on a pressure cooker.

So are we all in agreement that Jefferson is possibly a realm jumper and with magic can guide any character to another world, realm or whatever you want to call it. That room with the doors. Perhaps he is also the Wizard of Oz.

I don't think Jefferson has any magic. I do think Jefferson and Regina have good chemistry on screen. Emma and Jefferson is fine too, but i think they would need to work out some issues before they can become friends.

Maybe you guys can clear something up for me. It hasn't been talked about on the podcast. In one of the sneak peaks for 'An Apple as Red as Blood' Regina taunts Jefferson that he doesn't have it in him to kill her. She also says if she's dead, Jefferson will never be reunited with his daughter.

Regina repeats the same taunt again in the finale when he goes to see her at the hospital.

But what bothers me, is why killing Regina would prevent Jefferson from reuniting with Grace? I can understand if Regina killed Emma, then the curse would be broken.

If Regina is killed then the curse is stuck forever. At least that is what Rumpel said when talking to Regina.

Maybe there are a few ways to break the curse. Regina undoing it is one, Emma dying is another (the failsafe) and the third way if the curse right now is not broken already by Emma kissing Henry and saying she loved him.

What bothers me about the Mad Hatter is that I wonder how long he's known that Regina has her underground lair insane asylum. He freed Belle, which is fantastic, but he only did it after Regina refused to honor her deal and pushed his buttons. Declaring that he didn't have it in him to kill her was like waving a red flag in front of a bull. Yeah, he doesn't have it in him to kill her, but he knew that if Gold ever found out she was hiding and imprisoning his live, he would have no compucture against destroying her. So how long has Jefferson known about this underground prison? If Regina had honored her deal, he would have never released Belle. Just let her lay in her prison.

So now I'm really on the fence about him. They better do some explaining for me to forgive him, even though he's been through hell himself.

I agree with you about Jefferson. It's great that he freed Belle, but the truth is he didn't do it because he felt the need to help her. He did it for himself. And he didn't lift a finger to help her earlier.
There were some other things I didn't like about his actions in the last two episodes. For example the fact that he agreed to work for Regina again and seemed genuinely surprised that she didn't keep her part of the deal. I think it was obvious for everyone that she wouldn't keep her word and it should have been obvious for him especially, but he for whatever reason seemed shocked by the revelation.
The most bothering thing about Jefferson, though, is that he agreed to get the poisonous apple for Regina knowing that she would use it to put Emma under the sleeping curse. And he didn't care about it. He just didn't give a flying fig. If Henry died, that would be his fault just as much as Regina's.

I'm not sure about this character either. After Hat trick I thought he was rather desperate than villanous. But at this point I don't know. He doesn't seem to care about other people at all. Are we supposed to see another villain in him?

I understand some of his motivation. He was separated from his daughter in fairytale land and wanted to be reunited with her more than anything in Storybrooke, but he also knew what it was like to be trapped in two realities and didn't want that for her.

I don't think he's a villain. I think, he's good mostly. The only shady two things about him was he kidnapped Mary Margaret and held Emma captive, and his dealings with the Evil Queen in fairytale land. Remember, he initially refused her request in Hat Trick but turned around and changed his mind, despite his daughter's pleas not to leave.

How is that mostly good? How can one say "Oh he's mostly good except the kidnapping, drugging, assault, threatening with a firearm, provider of poison...." Wha?

He also had dealings with the Queen in Storybrooke. Like someone already said, he knew about the apple and if Henry had died, he would be at fault for that as well.

The path to hell is paved with good intentions. It doesn't matter that he initially refused her request. He still took her up on her offer... which btw, I don't think anything was wrong with it. But, magic comes with a price, yeah? He's a gullible doof that fell for her trick. I don't understand while in Wonderland as Regina and Henry are about to go through... why didn't he charge at them and go in first? hah
