Just wait until she finds out her baby daddy's father is Rumplestiltskin (yes, it's my dream). I think they'll all need family councilling.
I rather hope not....I wouldn't mind Henry's Daddy being Bae though.
I can actually see Emma denying that there's anything wrong with her and refusing to see Archie.

Sorry, I meant that written that Bae as the father.
Baby daddy = Bae
Baby daddy's father = Rumple (aka Henry's grandpa)
It was late when I wrote that, I could have been clearer.

Happens to me all the time too
You know, after watching True North again, I feel that Emma's counterpart in fairytale would be fairy godmother type or more precise a good, pure form of what Rumpelstiltskin does. You know, how he makes deals that turns out bad. Emma will grant wishes that will turn out good!
Well, hopefully. She does seem like a person who wants to help everyone live a good decent life.

Emma is not going to have a counterpart though. Emma is just Emma.

Re: Emma Swan Character Analysis
I love Emma's character, in fact, she is my favorite character in the series.
I think what really won me over was in 1.08 Desperate Souls where she does the right thing by stating that Gold was the one that set the fire, despite how the town and Henry would look at her.
I love how she is a complicated character with many flaws, but still wants to do the "right" thing for her son, to show Henry that good can win sometimes.
I can't wait to see the reunion with her and her family now that the curse is broken, I mean, she can't really blame her parents for transporting her into another world.....

What I mean is what she may become in fairytale land. Maybe she's still be Emma or maybe she'll become a fairy or an imp or a witch.

I love Emma too! And yes, I can't wait for the same thing. She is a complicated and yet simple too. She can be opposites sometimes. She can do the right thing, but also the wrong thing at the same time. Yeah, she's much more complicated than Snow and Charming.

I still think she is just Emma. Like she is Snow and Charming's heir. And i think that she is going to do classic fairytale stories. Like in the finale she did a lot of the things that the prince in Sleeping Beauty did. I don't think that means she is the prince in Sleeping Beauty though. I still think she is just Emma.

Re: Emma Swan Character Analysis
Emma is Princess Emma. She is not the prince from Sleeping Beauty because Regina made a reference to her when she spoke to Maleficent. From the way that conversation went it sounded like Snow and Sleeping Beauty are two different people and two separate stories. Besides Charming only put the egg into Mal as a dragon and Emma killed her as a dragon after the curse and after Regina and Mal "talked". Emma could still be the Swan Princess, wasn't her name Emma too?

Re: Emma Swan Character Analysis
I never connected Emma to the Swan Princess, probably because Disney didn't do that movie. And her name was Odette. My neice used to be obsessed with that movie. I always thought the Swan referred to The Ugly Duckling. In that story, the ugly ducking felt left out and like it didn't belong. It was never really part of the group. Then it grew up into a beautiful swan and found it's own kind and happiness. That's Emma. She didn't belong to anyone as a child or up till now. She's finally blossoming into a swan and has found her family and place in the world.

That's Swan Lake not Swan Princess. Disney did do Swan Princess and is based on Swan Lake.
