OUAT hiatus? how is everyone holding up?

So, it's been a few weeks since the finale.

Comic Con is July 12-15
Production for season 2 doesn't start until July 16
The season 1 DVD doesn't come out until August 28
Season 2 doesn't start until September-October.

Between now and July when everything starts kicking into gear, it's going to be a long time to wait. How is everyone holding up/coping during this summer hiatus?

I re-watch whatever OUAT episodes are still available on my DVR and am currently watching Stargate Universe to make up for the lack of Robert Carlyle on my TV (my boyfriend and I just started season 2). Occasionally, I listen to old episodes of the podcast and of course, Mark Isham's soundtrack. Read a lot of rumbelle fanfiction.

Me too: watching bunches of RC movies (last night it was Plunkett and Macleane, where you can see the beginnings of Rumple --RC's character is a schemer who knows a lot about chemicals). I'm rewatching the episodes through Amazon and working on the Rumple Compendium, and I'm starting to make plans for a Once season opening party at my library (episode viewing and discussion, costume contest, Rumple giggle competition, Bake the Storybook). Can't really make any definite plans till we know the premier date, though. Also reading fan fic-- a lot of good stuff out there.

I just stare at the forums waiting for more posts or the next podcast.
This past Wednesday, I rushed excitedly to my laptop for the next podcast... and no one was online. I was very sad.
Now I'm just hoping I can hold up until this Wednesday!

On Friday the UEFA EURO Cup began and it's going until the end of June, so that's something to take my mind off OUaT. For all none Europeans: That's the European Football/Soccer Cup. And I'm happy to report that Germany won against Portugal – even though the one goal was the only highlight of the game, the rest was boring, unfortunately.

Otherwise reading my fairy tales books and preparing for exams. In that respect I'm quite happy there's no OUaT to distract me. This forum already does that.

I'm still coming to the forum for any news on season 2 or the next official podcast from the show.

Also, I've been watching a new animated series out on Nick called The Legend of Korra. It's kinda like a sequel to Avatar: The Legend of Aang (the original animated series, not the movie), and it takes place about 70 years after the end of that story. It's a pretty good show to watch.

The hiatus didn't hit me hard until I started reviewing the Once Upon a Time soundtrack. Some themes gave me chills, remembering the emotions from the episodes.

I'll post an episode tonight about the soundtrack (with legal excerpts, too!), but I'm still traveling so I can't live-stream the recording.

That's not necessarily a bad thing though especially if it's NC-17. Just sayin'
