The other Snow White movie is coming out this summer. June, I think.

I've actually been marathoning through all the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter movies. They aren't very similar to OUAT, but they have magic in them, so I'll bend the rules a little bit. :D

Next up: Doctor Who.

I saw Snow & the Huntsman this past weekend and wrote a very blunt, honest review on my tumblr. Warning to any Kristen Stewart or Twilight fans, don't read.

I will say OUAT definitely has more depth and a wider range of emotions visible in all of its characters.

Amen, obisgirl. The film had so much potential, but stole from so many other existing films, books, etc (Princess Mononoke, hello???). A pity. Charlize Theron was good, however.

Another film is Finding Neverland (2004) with Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet. It's about James M. Barrie and how he came to write the book. edited to add: I probably should have named the book, lol. Peter Pan, of course. ;) Quite dramatic, but I enjoyed it back then. Then again, it's been 8 years. ;)

Pan's Labyrinth is also a great pick and although it hasn't anything to do with fairy tales, the fantastical element is greatly embedded. The story is truly great, though it helps to know a bit about the time while Spain was ruled by the dictator Franco (just a little bit, no need to go too deep, unless you're interested). Also, only watch if you're not easily afraid! It sometimes is categorized as fantasy, but really it's horror … I don't like horror, but did enjoy this film, because it had a deep and meaningful story, but there are some scenes that truly are disgusting/frightening. Don't watch alone or with children …

Keeper of Emma's blue jacket, Red's fabulous cloak, Charming's "I will always find you", Snow's "I'll find you" and Regina's "Magister" sign above her office door, as well as Henry's clock collection. @OUATGermany

I love Finding Neverland and Pan's Labyrinth. The little boy who plays Peter in Finding Neverland, he's a good actor. When he cries on screen, I cry along with him.

Finding Neverland is one of those movies I should own on DVD, but I don't. I have the soundtrack though.
