What happend to Kathryn?

What do you guys think happend to Kathryn? why wasen`t she there?

1st theory: She vanished into thin air, because she tried to leave Storybrooke. Bit far fetched, as none of the others who tried to leave vanished. There was just something pretending them not to leave.

2nd theory: She needed some air after she had the, well it wasn't a crash (nothing seemed broken), whatever it was that stopped her, and she passed out or fell … If that is the case, I think the "real world" Frederick (Does he have a name yet?) went looking for her, found her and took her home.

3rd theory: She got out of the car (who wouldn't do that after such a shock) and was taken by Sidney (or someone else. Don't know, if he'd ever be up to that.) by orders of Regina. Kathryn is now held prisoner somewhere. The wooden hut? down in the hospital with Belle? Has Regina maybe taken her Heart now (Does she still have that power in the RW? We haven't seen her [or Gold for that matter] do anything magical [except crushing Grahams Heart to dust].)?

Frederick does not have a name in te RW yet (is that how its written?)
And I don`t consider crushing the heart as magic, but im excited to see if they have some powers in the RW. What do you think of Emmas "I know if you li" "power"

I don't think it has anything to do with magic. There are some people who are really good at sensing if others are lying or not. Seeing as Emma always did this, I don't remember what it was called, bail-something job and has been searching for her parents, thus acquirering all these detective skills, I think she's just very perceptive. But I don't think she can always tell when someone's lying, since she doesn't seem to have picked up, that Sidney isn't on her side (I guess we'll see something about that in the next episode.).

Hello everyone, new to the forum and loving the podcast.

A few notes I have about the ending scenes.

1. The car crashing. We know that anyone who tries to leave, ends up in some odd vehicle malfunction. But after the other episode with Sydney, is it possible to consider he is behind the vehicle with Kathyrn crashing? (After all, he did reveal that he messed with the brakes on the car when he was with Emma, later in the episode to Regina).

2. This kind of goes against my previous thought. But this also touches on what Mia said above. We're starting to see that Regina/Gold either remember, or know, who they are in the other "reality". They both (I assume) have the power to send people to "our" world (Given that when Rumple "transformed Gaston into the Rose, the purple smoke appeared. To me that means that Rumple had the power to send him to "our" reality.), is it possible that Regina/Gold can REVERSE that? I get that Regina was burning the letter as a sign of trying to end this debacle in town, but is it possible that in doing this, she transported Kathryn back to the "other" reality?

Wow, never thought someone would come up with the crazy letter thought!! I had the same idea, but didn't write it down, because it would imply that Regina&Gold have their magic powers. And I'm not so sure they do.
Still, I do like the idea.
Maybe instead of sending her to FTL, she sent her to one of the rooms beside Belle's. I don't think, Regina would have sent anyone back to FTL, even if she could. Kathryn would probably remember everything?

P.S.: Why am I not this creative with my uni work?

I was thinking about what they said on the podcast that the car crashed the same place as Cinderella (whats her name again?) Do you think that has any think to do about it? And were was Frederick going?

Great first post, IndyandMarion!

So far, we can explain why Emma crashed while trying to leave: a wolf in the road.

We can also explain why Ashley crashed: labor pains were too much and she lost control.

But there's no "logical" explanation for Kathryn's crash. I like the theories so far. Maybe the next episode will be of another search party in the woods—this time for Kathryn instead of David. Odd turn of events?
