The look on Regina's face is priceless!

I kinda sorta actually bounced up and down in my seat and clapped when I watched this scene. Regina got OWNED.

My second thought is that the ball Mr. Gold is holding is perhaps a ball that used to belong to his son, Baelfire, in FTL. Perhaps Mr. Gold is going all sentimental on us, like he did over the chipped cup in episode 12.

Love that idea!

One of the most ironic things about that scene is that Regina did exactly what she warned Emma not to do in episode 8. Regina said, "[Mr. Gold's] a snake. You don't want to get into bed with him." Regina seriously should have known better than to trust him. She also should have been more discerning. After all, Mr. Gold did tell her in episode 8, "I like small weapons you see: the needle, the pen, the fine point of a deal. Subtlety, not your style, I know." In both that instance and the one in sneak peek, all Regina could manage to retort is, "You're a bastard." You'd think she learn. I love how episode 19 ties echoes lots of scenes in episodes 8 and 12, since all three episodes are written by the same screenwriter, Jane Espenson.

WORD to all of that! Regina's problem is she thinks with her heart too much to the exclusion of her head. She should know better when dealing with Mr Gold of all people!

Also, poor August seems to be in a lot of pain. It's as if last episode's "shin-splints" have morphed into total body hardening. Could August be transforming into wood right before our very eyes?

I'd been on the fence with the whole turning back into wood theory, but after watching this, I think I've gotta jump on the bandwagon.

The writers cut a very important scene between Jefferson and August in episode 1x17, ""Hat Trick." I think they did that for a reason. I think they're working together and that's who august was talking to on the phone.

Ooooo, good thinking! Loving the Jefferson idea!

Is the paperweight definitely a donkey? Perhaps it's a boy turning into a donkey. Of, course, I don't mind if its a human-donkey hybrid, like in the Pinocchio story.

Either would be fine in my book, but it just looks like a straight up donkey to me.

Yeah- I was skeptical on the whole turning back into wood theory...but now I'm thinking it could be so....it would certainly explain August's behavior.

I am wondering if August was drawing/adding/making more pages for the Storybook. That was quite a stack of papers there.

Does Regina have Danie's ring around her neck on a chain?

Maybe the deal between Rumpel and Bae was find a way to lose your powers or i am leaving you and so when he didn't do it Bae got sucked into that vortex. And i like the idea that something similar happened to Thomas.

I am actually really sick of trying to figure out who August is and no longer care. Just tell us or kill the character.

The fifth promo is great. I am definitely going to like the real world parts of this episode so much more then the fairytale ones.

Maybe August was one of the kids who turned into a donkey in Pinocchio and then when the curse happened he turned back. I just don't like the he is turning into wood theory. If that is so he needs to leave town. Maybe there is something wrong with him and he is dying like a magical injury.
