Who did August call?
Upon a second look, he only dialed 3 numbers on the phone. Thought that was interesting.

He dialed 3 numbers from his room at Granny's B&B, right? Maybe he called someone in another room? 911? I think he called Mother Superior.

One theory already going around is that August called Baelfire. My theory is that he called the author of Henry's book.

I think he called Henry because in the next scene August and Henry are talking about getting Emma to believe.

Hjbau, you are probably right but that seems so obvious! Especially when you put together that he fell out of bed 'cuz he couldn't move and then later in the episode telling Mr. Gold he is dying and needs magic to live. I don't know which I hate more, when the writers confuse me to death or present them with the totally obvious LOL! I'm just going to stop guessing, that might be the best idea yet

Hij, that seems logical, but I would think he is risking getting Regina, not only that, whoever it is knows what he is there for. I have a sense that it might be Jefferson. He would have to be hiding because he kidnapped Emma and Mary.... But he knows about FTL and wants Emma to believe too...

Maybe August was talking to Gepetto on the phone. They would not want to be seen together lest they reveal August's identity while they still needed Mr Gold to think he was Bae. I guess that only works if Gepetto has his memories.
I like the idea that it was Jefferson too, since they would have similar goals. But it makes most sense that it was Henry.

I don't think Geppetto has his memories. In the pilot, he said he'd do anything for a child, but he and his wife couldn't have any. I think he believes he's childless and doesn't remember his son.

I think Jefferson is still in the hat. And i don't think Geppetto knows who August is yet.

Hmmm that would be something that they'd do to us make us run around thinking it could be someone else like Bae when it was just Henry and they're just setting up the next scene
