The Blue Fairy aka Mother Superior
The Blue Fairy aka Mother Superior
I have not been a fan of the Blue Fairy (BF), but admit that last night's episode was my favorite with her in it. We found out she is the "original power", "bigger than anything" or anyone else. I have always wondered about her in the other episodes that are closer to the curse than this one. Wondered if she was hiding something or seemed to have a hidden agenda. So I think we can safely say the answer to that is yes. The question is, does her agenda include Rumpel's as well as something beyond it?
She knows he is working on a curse. She knows about Baelfire. When she helps Jiminy, when she stops Nova and Dreamy, she knows where things are headed. When she brings in the tree for Geppetto to make a wardrobe...
So does she know the truth about the curse in SB? I am on the "yes" side.

She had a lot to do with things getting to where they are in Storybrooke (one might even say she was instrumental in the creation of the curse ... as well as its escape clause) and I'm wondering what her goal is. I'm thinking it's not necessarily the same as the "humans" in SB/FTL.
We might be looking at a long con here. I mean, if you were "the original power," "bigger than anything" and you were in a situation were you were looked on mostly as a helpful little flutterby by all these big, galumphing, mostly magic-less humans ... well, you might be looking to get a bit back of your own.

Yup. I've been thinking the Blue Fairy is more of a Maleficent than a Tooth Fairy and August is a devotee...like a sick junkie..."Im sick...I neeeeed magic..." Yeah, right. Blue Fairy "magic" brewed up in the hospital basement by those sweet "nuns." I smell a double con job in Storybrooke. The Fairy Wars is sooo on.

She turned Jiminy into a cricket to help guide (save) Gepetto, She gave Bae a magic bean to help him save his father. She sprinkled magic on a tree stump and made it an escape portal so Emma could save FTL. I sense a theme here...
However, she was adamant about keeping Nova and Dreamy apart.
We have seen her twice as the Mother Superior -- once chiding Astrid about getting the rent money, and the other time talking with August in this last episode "The Return"

And also, how does BF knows about the land without magic??? I mean, has she ever been to our world? Does she knows someone who has? Does she has some kind of powerful tool (like a mirror) that shows her other words or at least ours?
I want to add a little detail about the magic beans. When The BF gave Bae the bean she said "The very last one it is known to our kind. The others got away from us." So maybe they were stolen? Maybe one of those beans was the cause of the Tornado that took Dorothy to Oz?

I also think that she knows about FTL. She just gives of the same vibe that Regina and Gold did before we knew if they knew in my opinion.
I kinda like the idea that she's not as good as she seems. A couple of lines in this episode just made me think a little - how Bae's second question "bigger than Papa? Worse than Papa?" wasn't answered, and her "there is good magic and dark magic, and I'm on the right side." This could easily be me reading too much into word choice, but I just found her use of "right" instead of "good" kind of interesting.

As soon as she said that, I instantly flashed back to Emma saying to August, "That's exactly what a liar would say."

I don't think you're reading too much into it at all. Found her choice of words quite intriguing. Gets me wondering just how many shades of grey there are in magic. Obviously there's the dark stuff, and the light stuff, but I'm thinking things get hazy in between. If your intention is "good", can you dabble in a little "bad" magic to get there? Does the end justify the means? Can you be on the "right side" of any given situation, even if you do things that might be considered slightly less than pure in order to help the cause, should the situation call for it? I think BF is the type who would answer yes.

And also it seems to me like she was going to tell a straight lie when Rumple started named ways to find Bae, because she started to say "There is no ___" but Rumple cut her off by saying "A curse!" And then she continued talking about the things she knows about the curse like "You can't do it" etc. So she knew about the curse but was going to say that there was no way!

Yes, I was also thinking "the others [beans] got away from us" was vital info. I started running down stories with beans and/or a green vortex and Jack The Giant Killer and OZ came to mind right away. The vortex Bae was pulled into was Oz Emerald green (Wonderland's was purple, if that matters). Maybe, Oz was without magic at one time and that's where Bae went or he could have been sent to Kansas and spent his life trying to get back to Rumple - but ending up becoming a traveling fortune teller and magician in his quest to find magic in the world.
The Blue Fairy is not as she seems. I believe Rumple had to make a deal with her to give him the additional ability to form the Curse. She has far too much power from the Fairy Realm at her disposal and I doubt she'd give it up to "sacrifice one world for another". She'd want some control and a cut of the bounty from the new world.
