Is it me or does it seem like in the promo Henry grabs the steering wheel & runs them off the road?

I loved the scene with Pinnochio and Gepetto on the raft with Monstro in the background, and then Gepetto crying over a wooden puppet. I don't think I could have done that.
And then pInnochio tying Jiminy up in the clock
And the end where August goes to help Gepetto. Loved that whole conversation.

Least favorite:
Gepetto bargaining with the Blue Fairy and telling Jiminy he could never make up for what he did to his parents.
Gepetto not doing what the BF told him to do, and sending Pinnochio through the wardrobe instead... putting all that responisbility on a 7 year old in five seconds.
Emma's anger at August for his bringing her to the Lobster House.
Emma not being able to see August's leg. (That was a great twist.)

Such a freaking amazing episode!

Best moment overall had to be the scene in the woods where August was shouting at Emma that he and everyone else needed her to believe and then her emotional breakdown that she didn't ask for any of this and simply can't believe. Please tell me I'm not the only one who had tears? I was really surprised by how emotional that scene was, and then leading into Pinocchio leaving Baby Emma, gah! More tears!

You definitely weren't alone. I was tearing up over baby Emma being left alone in this episode. It was the pilot all over again in which I cried through the scene of Charming being mortally wounded battling the EQ's guards to protect Emma and send her through the wardrobe.

I have to say that for story and content, this was probably my next favorite episode after "Skin Deep."

Someone will have to post a poll listing all the season one episodes at the end of the season and ask what everyone's top 2 or 3 were.

Favorite Moments: That Regina can cook an entire Lasanga in record time. Seriously, has anyone ever made one from scratch? Those things take at least an hour just in prep time. Then another hour or two for cooking. I also liked that Emma couldn't see August's leg turning to wood. All she saw was his flesh leg. That explains (in a bizzarro kind of way) why she could hear&feel Sheriff Grahm's heart just before he died.

Least Favorite Moments: Gipetto. He was a seriously selfish.

Favorites: all the kids. Even baby Emma was a sweetie: it looked like she was blowing kisses to Pinoccio.

Loved how quickly Gold got over his anger at August and chose to see the bigger picture.

Least favorite: the BF. She passes snap judgments, she's self-righteous and lacks empathy. I kept thinking, as she was helping Geppetto, why couldn't she have shown some consideration for the other father who lost a son? Yes, there may have been many years that passed between "The. Return"and "The Stranger" but what's a century or two to a fairy? And if she is the original power, surely she knows Rumple isn't entirely to blame for his state. Show a little heart, lady: help the guy overcome his curse and find his son. She reminds me of Jacob.

I think all of my least favorite moments were the scenes with Geppetto. I was very angry with him this episode, and shame on the Blue Fairy for lying to Snow White and Prince Charming. Likewise, I did not like Pinocchio that much either.

He wasn't as selfish as Geppetto but I think of my least favorites scenes with him were when he was fixing the cuckoo clock with Geppetto and when it was finally fixed, who pops up? Jiminy Cricket, whom Pinocchio tied up. That was horrible. It made me think of Junior from Problem Child.

My second least fav with Pinocchio was when he abandoned baby Emma. That so was not cool. And look at who he left her with? The Emo Family!

I also did not like the Blue Fairy that much in this episode.

Can't think of favorite scenes at the moment.

I have very little to complain about for this episode.

Loved (and in no specific order)
1). Scene when August and Mr. Gold talk. I'm was kinda surprised that they would start working together so soon. They both know who they are, and yet they both work towards the same goal. Especially after The Return, I wouldn've thought they would both avoid each other like the plague.

2). Loved Regina trying to seduce David. It shows just how sneaky she is, how hateful she is, and yet how lonely she is. She wants to get back at Mary Margaret for the forgiveness that she gave, and yet she is so lonely. The one person that she loves above all else hates her guts. That has to eat at her. And I loved how David pulled back--everyone gives him crap for how he acts, but the guy is cursed to act that way, and yet he is still able to be kind to Regina and pull away from her gently. He tried to be nice about his feelings and hers. Both Lana and Josh did great in those scenes.

3). Speaking of Mary Margaret, she only got one scene in this episode, but she shined in it. The way she talked back to Regina with one comment after the other, and then showing forgiveness towards the woman who basically tried to make her miserable shows just how kind and lovely she is. It also reminded me of the letter she gave to the Huntsman. Ginnifer Goodwin had always been good at showing the spirit of Snow White in the small hints in Mary Margaret.

4). Emma and August in the woods. I know a lot of people also love to rip at Emma for not believing in the curse, but in all honesty, I don't blame her and I would probably act somewhat similar. And you have to admit, you might, too. I think it also shows that Emma does know (at least partially) that she is responsible for the town. She just does not want it, and that is a fair trait. No one wants that kind of responsibility. And I loved how frustrated August was with her--both Eion and Jennifer were amazing in that scene.

5). Lastly, I loved the scenes with Gepetto and August/Pinnochio. Again, a lot of people seem to be attacking Gepetto for what he did, but I honestly don't blame him. True, it wasn't the right thing to do, but he was a father, desperate to save his child. Again, both actors really played up the emotions especially when August and Gepetto meet a second time and the former helps the latter with the clock.

I don't really have anything to hate in this episode. I don't really have any complaints.
