The thing I love most about Skin Deep is it's beautiful but not cheesy nor cliche.

I completely agree. For an episode that focused entirely on romance, it was probably one of the least cheesy, and probably one of the more darker episodes of the season. That's why I love Rumpel's character centric episodes so much. They're always so dark. It's a nice departure from the show's usual cheesiness.

I was actually surprised by the lack of cheesiness in Belle and Rumpel's story. Most of the romances on this show have an element of cheesiness and cliche to them. But the writers did a complete 180 with Belle and Rumpel's story. But than God they did. They created a real gem with this pairing.

Just started a countdown for it on my ipod But I am getting awfully annoyed at the people who say they are looking forward to the Belle and Rumple reunion in the finale. We know we will definitely see Belle (yay!) but a reunion has not been confirmed. There is a chance Rumple may not get a scene with her. I just don't want to get my hopes up for a reunion and then get crushed

Rumbelle Spoilers Ahead!!!

The producers just said they’d be very disappointed if there wasn’t any Rumbelle in the finale. Meaning we’ll get some Rumbelle in the finale.

They also said how happy they were at the overwhelming positive response to Skin Deep, because they nervous about it.

Actually, they said something about “seeing them both in Sunday’s episode” which can mean a reunion or just that both characters will be in the episode, which we knew.
