BURNING QUESTIONS... and answers

Regina said to Maleficent that she is her only friend, the same thing Regina said to Kathryn. I now question Regina and Kathryn;s relationship after all that has happened. Regina and Maleficent do have something in common and that is a woman that they tried to take down and was beat by the curse they enacted against the women who was deemed to be better than they were. Nevetheless, Maleficent had gone thru all of that and was trying to telling the consequences of the actions taken but Regina had not gone thru that yet and did not want to hear it. Maleficent, I think is a key to Regina's recovery if she is recoverable. Maleficent can help Regina because she been ther and done that. MM/ Snow has now forgiven he in both SB and FTL for all that she had done. After hearing this bith in FTL and now in SB she should come to realize that what Maleficent was right. There is going to be a hole that cannot be filled if she keeps going down this path.

Since James was his brother's name I'm really curious to know what his real one is.

Still working on how to phrase the question about MM/SW remembering in SB and forgiving David, and what episode that might go under -- perhaps the return since there is a question about whether or not MM and David can even have a HEA there.

Why wasn't Gold in Regina's dream?
Why didn't Regina use Belle as her bargaining chip when Gold refused to help get rid of Emma?

I'd say to leave Sb and find out what happened to Bae and to see if he is still alive and if he is maybe reach out to him if not come to terms with it. Nevertheless, he really has nothing more left in SB he has already beated Regina nor does she have anything over him. Belle isn't much of a pawn because of the please clause.

That's why I think it's significant that Gold wasn't in the vigilante posse. Either Regina thinks, despite what she called Gold's violation of their agreement concerning Kathryn, that she and Gold are still allies, or something else is going on. Regina has taken away Gold's happy ending too, whether he knows it or not, by kidnapping Belle, so he would have a legitimate claim on her conscience too. I think his absence from her dream reveals something about the relationship she thinks she has with him--or about her plans for him .

I think Regina still considers Gold her ally or at least he was when she had the dream. I think she's going to turn to Gold for help about Henry and he's probably going to reply with something along the lines of "I told you all magic had its price". It'll probably be at this point in her desperation that Regina will play her Belle card. As for how she'll play it, that remains to be seen. The writers have said that Regina couldn't just walk up to Gold and tell him about Belle because he would probably kill her and release Belle himself.
I have a feeling and I could be 100% wrong that Regina somehow arranges Belle's release and convinces Belle that she's her friend much like how she was Kathryn's friend. That way, Regina could keep an eye on Belle and a leash on Gold whilst at the same time be protected from Gold's wrath.
