Even though it has been expected as a sure thing, faithful fans of Once Upon a Time have been anxiously awaiting ABC’s official renewal for a second season. Today that wait is over! Adam Horowitz, one of the show’s creators, announced the news on Twitter this evening:

As we all settle in on Sunday to watch the finale and, no doubt, be left questions that will nag us until the show’s return, we can rest assured that the next chapter is officially in the works.
