Ok so I called this into the podcast on the 12 and waited to know what everyone else thought.

On the show the writers have been focusing on the well known fairy tales from the Grimm brothers and Hans Christian Aderson (i.e. Snow White, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast). However I am wondering if they will bring in some of the fairy tales that are not as well known (i.e. The Twelve Dancing Princesses, Tom Thumb, and The Golden Bird). My query to everyone is do you think they will bring in these other stories and which of the not well known stories would you like to see?

These are the Stories from the Grimm Fairy Tale book that I own:

    The Twelve Dancing Princesses
    The Golden Bird
    The Three Spinning Fairies
    The Three Children of Fortune
    King Thrushbeard
    Jorinda and Joringel
    The Wren and The Bear
    The Twelve Brothers
The Mouse, the Bird, and the Sausage
The Wolf and the Seven Goats
Thumbling the Dwarf and Thumbling the Giant
    Sweetheart Roland
    The Goose Girl
The Cat and Mouse in Partnership
    The White Snake
    The Frog Prince
    The PinkThe Queen Bee
Briar Rose (Sleeping Beauty)The Six Swans, The Fisherman and His if,Rumpelstiltskin,,Rapunzel,The Salad,The Bremen Town Musicians, The Raven,Cinderella, Snow-White and the Seven Dwarfs,The Elves and the Shoemaker, The Water of Life,The Gallant Tailor, The Golden Goose, The Blue Light,The Straw, the Coal, and the Bean,Fundevogel,Karl Katz,The Table, the Ass, and the Stick,Red Ridding Hood,The King of the Golden Mountain,The Robber Bridegroom, The Turnip, The Seven Ravens, Tom Thumb, The Clever Gretel, The Six Servants, Frederick and Catherine, Snow-White and Rose-Red, The Four Accomplished Brothers, How Six Traveled Through the World, Hansel and Gretel, The Twelve Huntsmen,Faithful John ,Iron Hans, The Lady and the Lion

My book which is a translation from the original German had over 200 stories for Grimm that they collected and published from folk stories… I think there is a lot of stories to pick from and I bet they roll in characters or at least a compilation of characters in the future… this show can go on for years and I would be happy.
