There are two sets of pictures. The first shows Pinocchio, Geppetto, the Blue Fairy, and Jiminy in the forest by a tree. I would assume Jiminy and the Blue Fairy will be in the scene and are there to add their voices to the scene.

And they also show a scene between Regina with the hood up on her car and David.

I’m also hoping we can clear up whether August really is Pinocchio or not. It seems like we’ll be finding out answers to lots of the major questions that have been asked on the forum and elsewhere.

March 20, 2012 at 1:37 pm #139284obisgirlParticipantI think the fact that this episode and the previous one are close together is a red-herring. @slurpeez108 wrote:

I’m hoping the Stranger doesn’t turn out to be Pinocchio. I want him to be a new character like Emma. But it could also be a totally unrelated story within the episode as well.
March 21, 2012 at 12:00 pm #139361PheeParticipantConsidering the photos show Geppetto on the shore of the lake with puppet Pinocchio, then they also show them setting up a shot in the same spot with the kid who plays Pinocchio and he’s dressed the same as the puppet, that must be the scene where he becomes a real boy. This happening all but IN the lake ties in nicely with August telling Emma about the legend of the lake that feeds the well and how water is magic.
Geppetto seems to be frantic as he runs up to the puppet then hugs it, so I’m wondering if maybe puppet Pinocchio gets lost, Geppetto drinks of the magical water that brings back things that are lost, then Pinocchio reappears and becomes real as Geppetto is holding him. Maybe.
I don’t usually look up spoilers, but after becoming convinced that August was Pinocchio, I looked up stuff for this ep to see what fairytale we’d be getting, because surely this will be the August ep, and I wanted to see if I’d guessed correctly. I’ll be very surprised if he ends up being someone other than Pinocchio now that I’ve seen those pics.
March 24, 2012 at 9:19 am #139610SlurpeezParticipantAs much as I don’t want August to be Pinocchio, I think there are lots of indicators that point in that direction. As Phee theorized, I think the fact that the puppet is found in what appears to be Lake Gnostos could be a nice tie-in to when August told Emma about the well water fed by a magic lake. Also, Pinocchio loved to go on adventures, and so does August. Plus, we haven’t seen Pinocchio’s counterpart in SB. Finally, in the pilot episode, Geppetto’s SB counterpart said how much he wanted a child, but he and his wife never could have children. We’ll have to wait and see.

March 24, 2012 at 1:34 pm #139616hjbauParticipantI just don’t like the idea that he is Pinocchio either. I am still hoping that any hints we have gotten are red herrings. And i just can’t quite get over the fact that little Pinocchio has red hair and freckles and August just does not. I am still hoping he is Bae or just someone else.
March 24, 2012 at 3:50 pm #139646miaParticipantThe problem with August not being Pinocchio is that there’s just no one else who could be him! We’ve not seen any Pinocchio-looking doll and there’s no other male character that could be him. Dr. Whale doesn’t count. Besides, he’s blond. I don’t think they’ll bring another character in to play Pinocchio in SB. As much as I dislike the idea, there’s just no clue that Pinocchio could be someone else. 😐 Well, one month, then we’ll finally know (maybe).
March 24, 2012 at 4:03 pm #139652hjbauParticipantWell Pinocchio could just still be the same kid living in Storybrooke. He doesn’t have to be another actor. He can just be that same kid.
