Wow, fairytales are a lot bigger now than I thought. I’m going to see Mirror, Mirror this weekend with my girlfriends. The other one just looks like a horror movie.

Of the trailers I have seen they all look good. Mirror Mirror appears to be the only one focused towards a younger, family audience. The others are darker, but more diverse. I saw the extended trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman, and was very surprised. Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen looks very good. It may be a little too Joan of Arc’ish; but so far from the trailers I have seen it looks very good. I also watched the trailer for Jack the Giant Killer and that looks like it might be good too.
Mirror Mirror looks good, I think it will be fun to watch. The other trailer I saw from Dreamworks is Rise of the Guardians, which teams up Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and the Sandman to fight an evil. Looks like a good year for Fairy Tales for all audiences.

I saw Mirror, Mirror this week on my first day off from school. It doesn’t tell a particularly new or compelling story, but the movie was a lot of fun, and the sets and costumes are truly beautiful! I really enjoyed it.

I didn’t know this until a few days ago but apparently, there are two Cinderella films in the works. One is by Disney and the other is by Universal.

Between vampires and fairytales, I prefer fairytales. I am so tired of the Twilight saga (though I was a big fan of Buffy when it was on).

I love Buffy too. I think I cried when Spike died. I think I always for the bad guys with a glimpse of light in them.
