I do not know if I read this on a blog or article or heard it in a podcast.
Next season they might have stories all in FAIRY TALE LAND or all in Storybrook; would that be of interest to you? Would you like it or dislike having one land only stories? What would be the advantage or disadvantage of such formats.
What are your thought on this possibility.

[adrotate group="5"]March 28, 2012 at 12:52 pm #140164obisgirlParticipantSo I'm looking at IMDB and clicked on season 2, and I don't know how this is possible but they already have the titles for first three episodes of season 2. and I went ❓
Like according to IMDB, episode 1 of season 2 is called “The Secret's Truth”
episode 2 is “An Isle Fit for All Kings” and and it looks like episode 2 is a two parter, and the second part is “Say Goodbye to the Sunny Sight.” But I don't know how accurate that is since we're not even finished with season one yet, so these titles could still change.March 28, 2012 at 12:58 pm #140167killianhookfanParticipantI have wondered if they might have all the episodes in SB if they have the characters all figure out who they are by the finale. I actually think it might be kind of interesting to see how the characters handle being fairy tale characters in modern day times – how would their day to day lives change? Would they remember all the modern conveniences or would they be perplexed by what they see around them and have to re-adjust to SB as if they just arrived? Would they want to try to create another Fairy Tale type land or would they be happy with SB? Or, alternately, if only a few characters figure out who they are, it could be kind of comical to see them interact with people who they know to be Fairy Tale characters but they can’t let on or it would freak them out.
Not sure how I would feel about a FTL only season. I guess it would depend on how it was done. Wouldn’t that mean that Emma and Henry wouldn’t exist though? Or at least Emma would only be a baby?? I can’t imagine that the two actors wouldn’t be in the second season.

That reminds me a lot of Enchanted. 😆 Great Disney movie that basically makes fun of itself. I don’t know if we could see a similar situation on OUAT but I don’t know, maybe we still might see glimpse of fairytale world next season.

Sorry I did not explain myself well ONE SHOW would consist of all FTL or all SB not the entire season. I heard they felt they could develop the story / characters with greater depth. Not all the shows would be in that format but just some of them.
As for how this might happen… apparently the stories have to be laid out and pitched by the writers and producers to the upper management well in advance of actual production something like a half seasons worth. The stories might not go as far as production if it not picked up but they have to have plans and stories in the bank….. THEY also have to keep it hush hush FROM CRAZIES LIKE US.

March 28, 2012 at 6:20 pm #140198hjbauParticipantI really think those Episode titles are fake on imdb.
I actually usually like the real world parts more then the fairytale land parts. So i would dislike an all fairytale land season. And i think there is still a lot more to tell in flashback even if everyone remembers by the end of the season. I think it would be pretty amusing to see the characters not know how to do things. Like how to use the stove or how to drive or where to go. That sounds like fun to me.
And how would Snow react the first time she saw Regina wandering around town and she has to pretend that she is still afraid of her. That also sounds like fun to me. It did seem like the Hatter knew things about both worlds though.
If they did one full episode of fairytale land and then one of the real world i would be okay with that. That might help them to be able to do a grander scale and more action in the fairytale land. Especially if there is ever going to be any fighting against the queen in any way. That might allow for more complex plots.

It puzzled me too when I saw that, especially when the first season isn’t even finished. I mean, wiki, I can understand but IMDB ❓
March 28, 2012 at 7:35 pm #140215hjbauParticipantAnd i think they showed up on IMDB like the day after the title for the last episode was tweeted by one of the writers. I really think that the titles are not made until they are writing the episode or after they are finished writing it. And i don’t think they have started writing Season 2 though they may have started working on it. They just finished filming Season 1 like yesterday.

The writers at one of the news events said they have had to start writing for next season. They have the bear bones scripts being presented to the producers and upper management. I would think they had to as part of the process for being picked up for next season. The writer’s comment that they have to write 6 to 8 shows ahead of what is showing. The are working on the last shows of a season before it even airs for the first time.
That said this might be true for this show and not for all shows. I am only going by what I read / heard on the various posts.
