My friend brought up a great point as we watched the show Sunday night:
Does each door lead to another dimension?
If so, maybe one of the doors leads to FTL.
But is FTL another dimension? Did the curse just change the world they were already in, or transport them to Storybrooke? After all, the reason Emma wasn’t affected was because she was transported in the wardrobe to… another world?[adrotate group="5"]March 28, 2012 at 9:12 pm #140224killianhookfanParticipantGood point. It would explain how August could be a character like Pinocchio and end up making his way to SB without having to get there via the magic tree.
It would make me wonder whether Regina has considered whether there was another way into and out of SB since she used the hat and the doors to travel between lands before.
It seems a bit anti-climatic now that I think about it. She made such a big deal about the fact that she was going to send all the characters to another place where they wouldn’t remember who they are and where she would take away their happy endings. Well, so far none of them seem to have had super happy lives in FTL and it seems that going to other lands was already possible so, really, the only big deal about the curse was forgetting who they really are???

The only one that I’m sure about (other than 14 to Wonderland) is number 13 to OZ. It is green, and each of those golden circles are an O with a Z inside, the classic OZ symbol.

Narnia? Underworld? Who knows?

Door 8 is aquamarine in color and could represent Atlantica, the underwater realm of Ariel. Door 12 looks Oriental as to possibly be Mulan’s realm. I think door 15 looks like it could be a nod to Tron, which was was written by the producers of OUAT. I also think door 16 is so ordinary as to represent Earth, the “real world”.

I can’t even see any of the detail on door 7!! 😆 I’ll take your word for it that there are trees on it. 😀 But now I wonder, do you think that door 7 could be the door to SB since the symbol for SB is an apple tree?? Is the tree the same tree as the SB apple tree?? Then maybe door 16 could be an entryway to somewhere outside of SB, like everyone’s favorite vacation destination . . . Boston?? I also thought of Tron for door 15.

I agree about the Oriental looking door and Mulan. And the blue door maybe being under the sea or Atlantis or something. No.9 reminds me of Regina’s castle. I was wondering if this was the way she gets back home. NO. 16 is quite like today. For the life of me, what is door no. 6 — green and with a small mirror on it? I keep gazing at door no. 10. On the left I see and alien’s head…to the right I see a woman’s face carved in the door and in the middle I keep seeing Sir Hiss from Disney’s Robinhood, LOL! Anyone else see that?
