I keep thinking the girl in the picture looks like a young Regina, but in the podcast you discussed it being Snow White or Alice in Wonderland.
And what is the heart locket about?

I think it is Snow for certain now that you said that the story was about Snow White and Red Rose. Though i do wonder why that story seems to be on so many pages. Do the pictures change or what?
I think they talked about how in old books many times the picture didn’t relate to the story it was next to necessarily.
@DanielJ Lewis— hadn’t put those two together yet. What a strange idea, and yet that might expain how she knows Jefferson.
I personally think the picture is a young Snow White.

Look closely at the shape of her face and her white ribbon. The picture from the book is identical to the photo of the young Snow White (episode 18). Finally, I think the reason Henry had a funny look on his face at the start of episode 17 is because this may have been the first time he came across the story. I think this was one of the stories August added to the book: how young Snow White caused the Evil Queen pain. That seems logical (the Henry part) and I do like the idea of it being a present from the Stable Boy.
Btw, you should probably put a spoiler tag on the photo. Some people don’t want to see that. 😉
