It looks like Daniel lied to Regina. Or at least didn’t have all the facts.
He said that love is the most powerful magic and can conquer all. This isn’t true in the Enchanted Forrest as he is dead by the end. We also know that it isn’t true becasue Mary Margaret kissed David and that didn’t bring back their memories.
Also, note that the two characters that don’t have a loved one, Gold and Regina, have their memories. So does Jefferson, but the jury is out as to where he is.
[adrotate group="5"]But they are also the “bad” guys and SB is supposed to be the happily ever after for the bad guys according to what Regina to evil characters when she first tried to enact the curse. But I agree – I haven’t seen much happily ever after going on in FTL at all. But remember that Rumple has Love Potion #9 now so anything is possible.
