    Around minute 26, when Emma was sitting on the bench thumbing through the book, the first page it pans in on looks a lot like August…. Is that a dagger in his hand or a sword or gun?? Anyone else catch it and what are your thoughts?? My DVR won’t pause on that exact spot so my curiosity is getting the best of me!!!

    I just realized in the previews for the next episode that you see August holding the dagger just like the picture in the book. Now to try and read the story on the page next to the picture…. If anyone can catch it please post!!!

    Nice catch! It looks like a sword. Seems like they might be starting to use the book to hint at the next episode. This is the best screencap I could get, the writing is too blurry to read:

    Isn’t that the pic of the Huntsman when it looked like he was going to kill Snow and instead cut a twig and made it into a whistle? The knife what shaped like a hunter’s knife and not the squiggle shaped of the Dark One’s dagger.

    Yes, it is the Huntsman. I believe Henry showed that exact same drawing to Graham in “The Heart in a Lonely Hunter” as well.

    Speaking of which, did anyone happen to catch the dagger of The Dark One will be shown in the next episode The Return? At the very end of an epiode (usually while the credits are rolling) ABC will show some highlights of the next epiosde. I noticed the dagger of Rumplestiltskin and it was held by somebody in Storybrooke. (Didn't look quickly enough to see who it was.)

    When is that episode going to air again? In 3 weeks or something?

    Did anyone also notice in the begining of Hat Trick when Henry was reading the book, he face looked a bit confused? Like he noticed a change in the story he was reading.
