So, Beauty and the Beast (the Disney version) is on now, and of course I can never look at it the same way again. I’m watching it to pick out the little details I’ve seen that coincide with OUAT.
First, when the Beast takes Belle, he throws her into a room- full of straw. 😀
Then, right before he lets Belle go free, the Beast lets her use his mirror to see anything she wants, and she says: “I’d like to see my father- please.” 😀
Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever watched the full movie of Beauty and the Beast (I never really liked princess stories when I was younger), but now I have a whole new respect for fairy tales!!!

Me too! I especially liked it, because it wasn’t a princess story! It was “normal” but very bright girl that didn’t go along with expectations. Plus, the songs are just great, lol.
It’s silly but I was hoping when we got to meet Gaston in fairytale land, that the OUAT would include their version of bimbettes from the movie. because I always thought they were so ridiculous. like they could have been a part of Gaston’s entourage or something. just follow him around everywhere.
