In SB we know that August Wayne Booth is the editor of the book – in one of the episodes has everyone missed that he added pages to the book?
In our world Wayne Booth was a famous literary critic who was a proffessor at Chicago university. He believed in broadening peoples minds to the imagenative possibilities behind alternative dimentions. Quote: “F*** real life” He prefered to live his life through the literrary classics. He was a great studier of fairytales and loved to decipher true meanings behind the txts such as the morality in fairytales etc. His mission and passion was to teach others to decipher fairytales.

Here is a link to his obituary (can be found on google) when you combine it with everything you know about august being the editor of the story book it makes me wonder if the writers ever met Booth.
If we combine this with the character of August they share so many similarities. Naturally Im not suggesting the writers of the show have put a real person in the show but that they have used his character to make us investigate. Look how many who is august posts we have: theories like peter pan, pinochio,Baelfire. They are wanting us to investigate. They are wanting us to decipher the characters. Much as W. Booth would.
Others share this conclusion:

The origional fairytale masters the brothers Grimm, Wilhelm and Jacob had siblings, many of who feature as characters in their stories:
Friedrich Hermann Georg Grimm (1783-1784)
Jacob Ludwig Carl Grimm (1785-1863)
Wilhelm Carl Grimm (1786-1859)
Carl Friedrich Grimm (1787-1852)
Ferdinand Philipp Grimm (1788-1844)
Ludwig Emil Grimm (1790-1863)
Friedrich Grimm (1791-1792)
Charlotte (Lotte) Amalie Hassenpflug, neé Grimm (1793-1833)
Georg Eduard Grimm (1794-1795)The first editition of their published tales were released in AUGUST.
August is the keeper and editor of the story book. Much love and respect to the real man W Booth xx

Thanks for posting. Actually, this topic has been touched on and speculated over ad nauseum. The theory that August Wayne Booth is the Wayne Booth, American literary narrator who coined the term “unreliable narrator” has also been brought up on other threads. There is a lot to sort through:

What can he do for Operation Cobra? What does he bring to the table? Those are the important question concerning who he is? We all ask these same questions about Whale too and my answer now will be the same for Whale as it is for August. These 2 are the major wild cards. We know where pretty much everyone introduced stands whether good, bad or neutral for the moment.

Ive had to watch online _ couldnt stand the thought of waiting 19 weeks to catch up and now the site where im watching online wont have the stranger episode for another few weeks, so im filling up the time on this forum. Plenty to read thanks for the links 🙂 x and charming I agree, Im still on the fence wether August is going to be as we say a goodie or a baddie lol. Although I havent missed the fact that he added pages to the book, which means he can manipulate the situations and characters very easilly either way.

Thank you. It matters not right now who he is….rather how much help or damage he’ll do later.
