ParticipantI really just want everyone’s last call on who August is before the new episode tomorrow. Really try not to spoiler in the thread. And if you think he is two things like Pinocchio, but also the boy who found Emma then select Pinocchio because he is the character, but feel free to comment that you also think he is the seven year old boy.
Even though i think there have been a lot of Pinocchio hints. And even though i think there is a possibility that he is the seven year old boy who found Emma.
I am calling that August is Baelfire, Rumpel’s Son.

ParticipantI voted that August is Baelfire. 😀
I will be severely disappointed in the writers if they make him Pinnochio.

ParticipantUGH!!! Dang it! Fine, he’s Pinocchio. Argh!!! 😆
However, I also believe that he’s either connected to Balefire, Jefferson, the Wizard of Oz or Peter Pan too. 😉

ParticipantMost of the clues point to Pinocchio, but I really want him to be Bae. I’m actually going to be disappointed if he isn’t Rumple’s son. Bae seems like such a sweetie.

I feel ya, dude. I really liked the actor who played Baelfire. Next to the girl who played little Snow, he’s one of the best child actors on the show. And on top of that, he’s a handsome little fella too. 😀
I’ve accepted the fact that August is probably Pinocchio. However, I’m still holding out on the hope that he’s connected to someone important like Rumpel, Regina, Baelfire or some other really interesting fairytale character like Peter Pan or Oz.

ParticipantFor some reason i just can’t accept that August is Pinocchio. Though really i just keeping shooting between, of course, he is Pinocchio, to no that doesn’t quite fit so he is most likely Bae, and am like that doesn’t quite fit because of the time issue, and so i think maybe he is just a muggle and the seven year old boy who found Emma and is only connected to one of the other two.

LOL! I’m right there with you! I feel like my common sense is telling me that August is Pinocchio, but there’s a nother part of my brain that refuses to accept that the writers actually made us wait all season for freaking Pinocchio.

ParticipantMy favorite theory has August with no backstory in FTL yet. He was born after the curse was broken, like Henry. He has come to SB to help Emma and Henry break the curse since he knows it has already happened in FTL. I suspect that “Alice in Wonderland” happened before the curse and “Through the Looking Glass” occurs after the curse was broken. Thus August can be The White Knight from Through the Looking Glass — that has not happened yet in FTL. He may also be capable of traveling back and forth between FTL and SB with ease.
