Since we saw a snippet of August conversing with Mother Suprior, the Blue Fairy’s SB counterpart, I think that she may have her memories of FTL in tact. She is, after all, the original magical being, so it’s entirely possible she preserved her own memories from the effects of the curse via a spell. I think she may have sent August to our world with the intent of helping him protect Emma and also of assisting in breaking the curse.

I have this uneasy feeling that the Blue Fairy isn’t on the side of the angels, as it were … not necessarily that she’s evil, but she’s rather thoroughly on her own side. And that’s not the side of mankind.
She did orchestrate an awful lot of things, didn’t she … in a way, she made it necessary for Rumple to come up with the curse. And then possible for Emma to escape that curse. I wonder if she’s pulling strings toward an end we cannot (yet) see …

And I think she was the person August called. The episode was leading us to believe it was Henry he called, but I think it was the mother superior/Blue Fairy.
But if she does, then do all the other Nuns also remember their past? From the episode “Dreamy”, I didn’t get the impression that Nova remembered.

April 23, 2012 at 4:07 am #143318SnickerdoodleParticipantThat was a great mislead on Mr. Gold’s part, wasn’t it? He wants tot find Bae so badly that it took me a bit to remember that Pinnochio and Gepetto are also estranged and so what she said to Gold could totally have been about Pinnochio and Gepetto, but Gold wanted it to be Bae so badly.
Now I wonder if Bae is even alive. If he went to a land without magic, how could he stay alive for so long? He would need magic to keep him alive.
Anyway, as to the BF/Mother Superior remembering, I believe she does. She is more powerful than Rumpel on the “good” side, although I will say I agree with OnionGirl that I have always had an uneasy/uncertain feeling about her.

Yup, that’s what I reckon.
Morraine was suggesting that people believe Blue Fairy to be the most powerful in the land, more powerful than Rumple, so I could totally buy her still having her memories in Storybrooke.

They could have discussed both Geppetto and Rumple/Bae.
If August is Pinocchio, and if Mother Superior has retained her memories, then they both know and remember Geppetto. If August wants to talk about his dad, and how rough it is to be around him again but unable to speak to him, which would be a crappy situation, she’s the only person in town he can go to about it to speak in complete confidence.
And I also think they were working together with this plan to deceive Mr Gold, or rather, August was following orders from her. When he was confronting Mr Gold, he wasn’t relishing the experience at all, so I think the only reason he was doing it was because Mother Superior gave him the task.

April 23, 2012 at 6:12 pm #143411fairytaleprincessParticipantMother Superior did say to Nova in Dreamy, ” You know how he feels about us.” refuting to Mr. Gold. If she does remember then she is not just refuting to hey current Nun SB placement.
I don’t think she intentionally “told ” Rumple about the curse. It was more of an, “oh, that didn’t cross my mind because I am good.”
