Maleficent mentions says that “not even its unholy power can bring your loved one back from the dead”. Why does she say that unless she assumes Regina has intentions of bringing someone back, almost like they have discussed Regina’s plans together and Regina mentions bringing someone back. Have I missed something?
[adrotate group="5"]Maleficent says that to try to avert Regina’s vengeance. She’s trying to get Regina to understand that nothing she does will change what’s happened to her lost love. It’s like anyone in Regina’s place – you lose someone and you can enact vengeance but the person is still gone or you lose someone and you can cope with the loss and you can move on.
Maleficent says what she said because whatever she does to Snow and Charming whether it be revenge or not it is still not going to bring Daniel back. That is the hole in the heart that cannot be filled. Even if she wins this fight, what does she really win? Regina will still not have Daniel. That was what Henry was trying to tell her before she ripped his heart out. She needed to get over it and move past it in order to heal herself. A famous man once wrote before seeking revenge on another you first must dig two graves.
