I was just wondering if you think Sydney’s mirror can see into other worlds? I mean Regina ‘wrote’ everyone’s story but how did she know what would fit in our world? How did she know what professions and such were available her? I know some (like doctor) would have some overlap, but others like reporter and DA wouldn’t.

Hmmmm… I don’t think it can; magic is powerful and everything, but even magic has its limits. Plus, magic from one world doesn’t spread to another, unless something happens to make it so.
t I have a feeling that a power like that wouldn’t have escaped Rumple’s attention and he would’ve paid a pretty price to get his hands on such a mirror.

oooo….. maybe he does have it somewhere and we haven’t seen it yet.
Good point about Rumple but i’m still not sure how Regina would know enough to write everyone’s stories.
I personally believe the Curse is like a “program”. It’s run by an A.I. mostly but if Regina wants to override the system, then she can. I do not believe she individually wrote “everyone’s” story, only those of people she was particularly interested in.
You also could question if the Inifinite Forest is a bubble universe with no “way” out but magic then the mirror could see into that I think. But since it was a sub-universe really that may mean nothing.
I think it’s more than just the mirror given to Regina by the Genie. In magic, mirrors and other reflective surfaces are supposedly a means of divination, precognition, and in some cases transportation. So, however one acquires magic in the Enchanted Forest, a magic user would be able to use a mirror to see other places. Though not yet shown, Rumpel may be able to do this as well, however, at the same time he is not able to shield himself from Regina viewing him, as seen in ‘Skin Deep’ where Rumpel has his mirrors covered.
