Meghan Ory will become a regular cast member in the second series of ABC‘s Once Upon A Time.

The actress recurred across the first season of the fantasy/fairy-tale drama. Ory played Red Riding Hood in the Enchanted Forest and Ruby in the “real world” town of Storybrooke. Ruby worked at Granny’s Cafe and the Bed & Breakfast as well. In the Enchanted Forest the character of Red was depicted as being friends with Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin).

Deadline reports for the second series the actress will become a series regular alongside the likes of Josh Dallas, Jennifer Morrison and Ginnifer Goodwin. Actress Kristin Bauer recently stated she was open to returning to Once Upon A Time for its second series. Bauer played the powerful witch Maleficent – from the Sleeping Beauty stories – in two episodes of the first season.

Meanwhile producer Jane Espenson has teased several characters she would like to see appear in the second series; Ariel, Goldilocks and Aladdin‘s Princess Jasmine.
