It’s been reported that Colin O’ Donoghue, who’s playing recurring character Captian Hook in an upcoming episode, will be promoted to series regular in the second half of season 2! Just thought that was some interesting information. Perhaps another regular with be written off because that seems to be too many characters.

I know August and Dr. Hopper were demoted so that they could make room for Red and Belle. So, I don’t think anyone else is going to be demoted.
Is it possible Hook may go after Belle in revenge for what Rumple did to Milah?

Keeper of FelixI was thinking along the same lines, PriceofMagic. What better revenge against Rumple than to take his true love? Plus, can Rumple even die?? He is still the Dark One, we know this because he summoned the Wraith.

What if Hook becomes a stand-in for Gaston (as the real Gaston is dead and was a horrible actor…) and tries to get Belle to go with him. But then the epic battle on the castle in the classic Disney movie happens, Rumple gets stabbed, and then Belle has to save him with true love. This may just be my Rumbelle fantasy in my head, but they could play out the movie.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I don’t think Hook is going to genuinely fall for Belle. He’s to focussed on revenge againt Rumple. If he sees how much Belle means to Rumple, then he might try to charm her and weasel his way into her affections but only in order to take her away from Rumple. That doesn’t mean that Belle is actually going to be interested in Hook.
Smee is also aware that Belle and Rumple have a relationship. He’s going to report that back to Hook at some point. What would be interesting is if Smee gives Hook a description of Belle such as pretty and brunette and then Hook sees Belle talking to Red but mistakes Red for Belle. He then ends up kidnapping Red instead thinking she is Rumple’s true love.

Keeper of FelixNo, I can’t take if Milah is Hook’s true love. Must be someone else, since he seems to be a womanizer, he could fall for Belle’s beauty (She’s brunette too!). Anyway, I hope his true love is Ariel, that would be awesome 😀

Keeper of FelixI think Hook will go for Belle – it would be a revenge and also a bit of a relief for his heart as I’m sure it’s been a long time since Milah’s dead. Otherwise, why would the writers temporarily part Rumple and Belle like that? I mean, they are technically dating but they aren’t together so Hook may as well try his luck. Although I am not a big fan of the character, so far he hasn’t proved himself anything but a person who talks WAY too much.
