The first thing I thought when I saw the shot of the sanctuary on an island (or was it a pensula?) was that it was Camalot or maybe Avalon. And given that Lancelot is going to show up next epp i think it’s safe to say it might be a possibility.

Avalon could be in the EF, but have it’s own brand of magic protecting it (merlen perhaps?) and that’s why the curse didn’t work right there.

    What do you guys think?

I don’t know a ton about the different worlds. Honestly the first thing that popped in to my mind was how it reminded me of the smaller island off of the main island on Lost. Which is totally irrelevant. Sorry, it’s just how my brain works.
Still, my guess is that it isn’t a specifically different world. At this point I’m guessing that all the fairy tale worlds have merged in to one land, or that they’re still in the Enchanted Forest, just a small untouched corner of it.

Oh, I’d love to see Merlin be a force for good, and I love all Arthurian legend. I think your theory is really good considering the title for next week is Lady of the Lake and we’ll meet Lancelot.

It’s a pretty awesome concept, that it’s only thanks to Merlin that that little piece of the Enchanted Forest still exists. Camelot/Avalon would be very cool. Perhaps Lancelot and Mulan can hook up at some point, and poor Aurora can continue to mourn poor Prince Phillip.

I hear we will be seeing the LADY OF THE LAKE / Siren of Lake Gnostos (?SP) again in an up coming series… I think it will be this one.

Oh? Are they combining those two legends? I had herd about one and didn’t connect it to the other.

Yes, I think the writers will combine the two stories together: Lady of the Lake is the siren of Lake Gnostos.

Either that or the Lady of the Lake is Snow’s mom. I kind of like that theory. And it would make Lancelot her brother!

Only one problem with the someone else saving a piece of EF/FTL theory – Rumple, Jefferson & Regina all knew with 100% certainty that EF/FTL still existed post curse- while the curse was active & after it had being broken.
I think that Rumple & Regina knew it did on account of them being involved with bringing the curse to bear & Jefferson knew because his Hat connected to EF when Regina wanted to get magic (unless he knew more about Regina/Rumple’s curse than we know).

So, I agree that the reason the remanent of the Enchanted Forest was preserved is due to Rumpel designing the curse to be that way. I also think Regina had the power to chose whom she brought over when the curse was enacted. However, I like the theory of a good wizard like Merlin protecting the “safe haven” which Mulan called their home. That peninsula could be Avalon/Camelot.
