Now that we know August is a walking, talking man-puppet, I’m going to bet he sent the postcard to the New York stranger via a pigeon. My only disappointment is that Eion Bailey isn’t back in 2×2 and that Pinocchio and Geppetto didn’t have their happy reunion yet. Though there's word that Eion is now on set again, so we should see Pinocchio become real again.

I doubt he was the one who sent the postcard, as it appeared he just woke up during this episode. Curious to see where he has left to now, and why he didn’t stick around to reunite with his father though.

The clip with the New York stranger could be from several episodes later in S2 (say 2×9). The writers of Lost used to the the same thing. They’d give a hint of the future, and then you’d see it unfold later on as the story progressed. Since Eddy and Adam wrote for that show, I think they’ll do the same for this one.

    I suppose that’s quite possible.

Although it made me think of something else- can August/Pinocchio still leave the town, now that the curse is broken? Does the curse’s new effect only effect those who were originally imprisoned in Storybrooke? So would Emma, August and Henry be the only ones who could potentially leave Storybrooke unaffected?

I would assume so. I mean, that’s the first thing I thought of. They never really had their memories altered in the first place so how could they have their memories reset when they cross the border? Now I’m more sure than ever that Rumple’s favor from Emma will be for her to go, find Baelfire, and bring him back to Storybrooke.

I agree with the theory about Baelfire, especially after the end of today’s episode. Rumple standing at the city limits was a sad scene, to say the least, since all he wanted was to be reunited with his son.

Where was Belle for this episode, though?

Yeah, I was wondering that, too. I can only assume that what was happening with her was just normal, boring stuff so they decided not to show it.

I was kind of upset that we didn’t get to see pinocchio in this one besides those few shots, but then i figured doing a CGI of him would have been too time and money consuming so they had all his stuff off screen.

I think that when the dwarves find fairy dust, BF will use it to bring Augest back to flesh.

I thought at first that Rumple wouldn’t have control of his powers much like Regina but from the looks of things he’s doing pretty well from himself. I could see this being the favor for Rumple but how cool a twist now would it be for Bae to be Henry’s father if Rumple really does send her after him? That would be some kind of awkward conversation wouldn’t it lol

Ugh I would LOVE for Bae to be Henry’s father, it just fits sooo well! Can this happen please??
