Since I’m sure we all got the Wizard of Oz reference, does this line possibly foreshadow Regina taking up the future role of the Wicked Witch of the West?

I had gotten the impression that she’d be working towards some type of redemption this season, but if something sets her off – Henry related – again, I could see her going even darker. This may just be a reaction to her fantasy of killing Snow tonight but again we see what an unstable person she is. Emma comes back and Henry slips a ‘mom’, Regina is going to lose it!

That’s exactly what I thought when I heard that line! Is it an implication that Regina will become the Wicked Witch of the West? I really, really, really hope so. And if that is the case, who will be Glinda? ………. Emma perhaps? 😉

Yes, good catch about the reference to Oz, which I think we’ll see at some point. I wonder if Regina was also referring to Rumpel, who has a greenish-gold appearance thanks to his dark magic.

I hope we get a Oz Story more in line to the musical Wicked. Not a green mean Witch but a misunderstood Witch like in the musical. I would love for Regina to stand on the side of good fighting the True evil in the finale battle.

I do think Emma is going to end up being the most magically powerful thing in our world based on last week – and I’d love to see her reaction if/when she finds out she’s a witch! It is Emma though, so she probably won’t be traveling by pink bubble… 😆

I’m probably just impatient to see OZ. Ever since the portal door in Jefferson’s hat – I’ve been excited!

That could be interesting! Maybe Regina is called to do something that requires an unsafe amount of magic (somehow linked to saving/protecting Henry) and it backfire’s turing her green.

I thought she said that because Gold had a greenish metallic cast to his skin and she learned her magic from him. I thought that would be how she would turn green.

If they bring in OZ to this show I do not think it will be for the next couple of years…. I am not ready for more new characters when I have not met the ones from this season.

That’s what I thought she meant, she didn’t care if she ended up Green like Rumple she just wanted Henry back

If the price to be paid for over using/miss using magic manifests in turning skin green – I still think it’s possible that she could become the Wicked Witch of the West. I see the logic that it is related back to Rumple but I think it expands into her own desperation and a (possible) future path if she finds herself unable to give up magic.

Regina turning green ala WWofW would be great but I would love to see the Wicked Witch of the West show up and give Regina and Rumple , and even Cora a run for their money in the evil department. She is THE evil from my childhood stories. With Lancelot coming in, is Morgana down the road? Talk about picking between the lesser of multiple evils!
