    Hi everyone,

This is kind of random, but I was knowing if anyone knows a good place online to get a copy of photoshop. I did have a legitimate copy, but my computer crashed and it took my validation code along with it. I’d like to make some avatars/signatures/wallpapers etc., but I’m without a program. If anyone has any ideas, could you let me know? Any version is fine, seriously. And if it’s decent (and has colour filters), it doesn’t even HAVE to be photoshop. I’m just most familiar with it.

    Thanks,

    – Robynne

If you registered your Photoshop or still have the discs, Adobe can help you get it back on your computer.

Do you have Windows or OS X? And what version?

What version of Photoshop did you have?

I have Windows 7 now. My other computer had Windows Vista. I think the photoshop was PS 7? It’s quite old – I think it was a hand-me-down from someone at my church or maybe overflow from my dad’s company or something. I had it several years ago and I have about the same memory retention span as Dory from Finding Nemo, so I can’t tell you exactly. xD

I think I can probably find the discs somewhere in my house, but the problem I have is that because my computer crashed and I had to wipe the hard-drive, adobe thinks the registration number was already used, so it won’t let me put it on my new computer.

Someone else I spoke with suggested looking at purchasing photoshop elements. Are you familiar with the program at all? Does it have selective colouring and layers and brushes and features like that for creating photomanipulations and original graphics?

You can download the trial version on adobe.com and then purchase the subscription.
