No more ‘who is Dr Whale’ threads! At last 😀 😉 😆
It seems you haven’t been able to enter a forum or chat room for the last 8-10 weeks without having to sift though ‘Dr Whale is?’ threads – the worst part about them all, is it’s usually the same things repeated over & over again no matter who they think he is lol.
Not trying to lessen the work some people have done on their theories either- because some of those people have spent tens of hours building very well thought out & researched cases for who he is, which I respect.
Is it just me or was it different with August?
Usually I LOVE speculation (& had Dr Whale in particular niggling at me for most of S1 & right up until approx 4wks or so ago when I hit saturation point), but this time…Man- at this point I don’t care who he is from Frankie to mickey mouse! 😆Anybody else suffering from ‘Dr Whale speculation’ over kill & will be glad when it’s all over? I cant be the only one surely!? 😳 🙂
[adrotate group="5"]I think the best thing about eps 5 will be actually seeing Dr Whale as Dr Frankenstein and Daniel as the monster. After over 2 months of finding clues/connections, and being a bit excited when another clue fell into place, finally seeing the theory ‘come to life’ is a nice reward for me, TheGoldenKey, and all the others who have had fun theorizing and picking up on clues and little details and seeing how those clues/little details lead to really intelligent theories………Go Team Frankie!
The best thing is that Regina will actually be in the episode! Not to mention all of the brilliant character moments Regina-centric episodes always have.

lol, so true. Like you said not to lessen the work of everyone who has worked so hard on theories about who he is, but it will be nice to finally have one mystery answered.
I feel bad for poor David Anders though after seeing this tweet,
.The promo department should be fired. It was bad enough last week when they promoted Hook so wrongly, and then some viewers were upset that he wasn’t so bad after all at least not in The Crocodile. Then they give away the secret of who Dr. Whale is even before the episode airs. Yes, I figured that he was going to be Dr. Frankenstein because of the spoilers, but I wish they hadn’t made it so obvious in the promos.
Best thing for me will be seeing him as Dr. Frankenstein. I guess it’s different when your theory actually comes to fruition. Can’t explain the excitement. But was a little bummed out that the promo ruined it. Still, I will never trust those promos!
I know how you feel Surayya. I feel the same way about all the Archie’s threads. I don’t know what everyone’s obsession is about Archie, but crumb, give it a rest! Does he have a girlfriend; does he hop from bed to bed; does he change back to cricket for a few hours each evening; and the threads go on and on! 😛 😈 😆

Considering how closely they’ve guarded the secret of his identity, it must be irritating for all involved to have had it given away so blatantly in the promo.
I was never that caught up on who he’d be during season 1. Had had a couple of ideas, but didn’t really waste a whole lot of brain power on it until the season 2 spoilers started, and then I suddenly, desperately wanted to know. It’ll be great to finally have his identity made official…so we can move on to obsessing about something new instead. 😉

Can’t lie Phee, it felt pretty good,, especially considering how many people poo poo’d the Frankie theory, especially on the OUAT FB page.
I think we’ve already starting obsessing about mystery man Neal Cassady 😆 and you know what? That’s ok. That’s what these boards are for 🙂

Yes, TheGoldenKey….it sure did feel good:) We were ‘ridiculed’ for our Frankie theory lol! Look how many ppl on the OUAT fb page are saying “I knew it” or “I was right” now, though, lol!
And yes, we have already starting obsessing on Neal……but, we have already found a ton of connections……all the PP stuff, NY stuff, Magic Trip, The Grateful Dead, Jeromino Jackson, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, etc.. 🙂
SINCE he is a regular on the show…. I think there will be more of a reveal then what we have seen so far….
Whose heart did DR FRANK.. use in the body of Daniel…. I bet REGINA had some really wicked hearts that would not be bent upon revenge. Could it be her father HENRY who is ticked off at REGINA for taking his heart.?….. should be interesting.
This is just the start of Dr Frank… and what will he do in the future??? The man is not wrapped right… bit of a psycho… don’t you think???
