The concept of the shared nightmares is definitely a new little twist to the story line. I think the sleeping curse was definitely a huge part of why they have it, but I think their innocence might also play a role in why they share the nightmare. You have to admit that Aurora and Henry are both innocent, and it is known that innocent minds are more open and receptive. If they happen to be asleep at the same time, their minds can connect to the other across time and space. This could very well allow a chance for them to communicate…

As far as the room is concerned, I think this is a room in the Queen of Heart’s castle. Why else would the room be so red? Granted, I don’t really know why the curtains would be on fire. Perhaps the Cheshire Cat is playing a mind trick on their innocent minds. It would make sense if the Queen wanted them to lose their minds (which makes me think of her famous “off with their heads” line). I don’t truly know why she’d want both of them to lose their minds, but I’m sure that’s something a quick, decent plot line could fix.

Aurora has been under-used, in my opinion, and her innocent could actually be useful if this nightmare forms as a link between the two worlds. And the redness of this room is also difficult to ignore. Wherever the writers are going with this, I think I like it.

This could very well be another character development towards Alice in Wonderland…I’ve read about people who think it might be something related to the infamous hat, but I don’t think so because the hat has lots of doors inside of it…All-in-all I really want to meet these missing characters: the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, Alice, and the Queen of Hearts. I think Alice could be Emma, the White Rabbit could be Neal, the Queen of Hearts could be Cora, and the Cheshire Cat could easily be anybody…
