After watching the latest episode and listening to the podcast. I had a theory as to what the dreams may represent (in addition to the communication theory.)

I think that with Aurora being in Present Day FTL, a land with magic, the fire could represent the light of magic, where, Henry being in the shadows, could be the land without magic. I feel that this is majorly significant. Also, as Daniel said, I think that they will be able to communicate through the dream, both people were scared and hiding in the corner, if they got the bravery to stand up and walk towards each other, that would allow them to change the dream and make it into a “telepathic” connection. Just for the short time that they are separated.

    What do you guys think?

I like your thinking. 🙂 That is an interesting idea.

But would the shadow land without magic thing still be relevant at this point in time, when magic has already been brought to storybrooke?

I think that they will definitely make connection. It will be interesting. 🙂

I think this is a very good possibility. I would not be surprised if you are right.
