So you think that if the dark one leaves him, he will be his normal age again? Like, after he became the dark one, the dark one grew in age and the real rumple didn’t?

The Dark One curse can only be broken 1 of 2 ways:

If Rumplestiltskin is killed with the dagger – as he killed The Dark One and then became The Dark One.

Belle’s true love kiss seemed to start working in Skin Deep, so, that maybe the a way to have Rumple’s Dark One curse broken wothout having to kill him off.

Haha I know. I mean that if Rumple’s curse is broken, he is still 300 years old. Will he just keep getting older? like, belle is with a 300 year old guy, going on 301? lol

Archie went back to the age he was when he was turned into a cricket, even tho at least 60 years past between when he did become a cricket and when the Dark Curse happened.

Thats a good point…but all the people are kind of still who they are in a sense. Rumple is in Storybrooke, but he is still the dark one. It doesn’t change that, even if he appears ‘human’. Red is in Storybrooke, but she is still a wolf. Archie is probably still a cricket, too. Like, if he went back to the Enchanted Forest, then he would turn back to a cricket. Probably.

But if you guys are right, Its kind of confusing! Say if Rumple will/i] be the same age he was when he turned into the dark one. He will still be that same age in appearance, but he will also still be 300 something…because if he wasn’t, he would forget all the memories of the Dark One.
