    Mulan called the place where the red poppy grew the Forest of the Dead, located at the boarder of Snow’s kingdom in the EF. Since the writers drop hints all over the place about future episodes, I have a feeling that this reference foreshadows a big event. Spoiler warning: Very recently, Julian Morris tweeted this picture with the caption: “Someone's back”
    Prince Philip's soul may be retrieved by episode 2×12. The image could be the Forest of the Dead that Mulan mentioned in 2×8, the same episode Cora offered to retrieve Philip's soul for Aurora.

    I never thought of that connection. But now you mention it. It might just be a coincidence, but still interesting.
