How will they bring back Sidney Glass?

So with him busy on his other show, Revolution…I understand having him in the series right now is not possible/not that important to the plot. My question is, when they bring him back eventually how will they do it? He was locked in the basement this whole time still? I find that kind of silly.

Perhaps with magic back in Storybrooke, people are going to slowly start reverting back to their fairytale land forms. Ruby can already turn back into a wolf, how long will it be before Jiminy becomes a cricket? Rumple becomes Rumple? Sidney becomes a mirror again? Blue Fairy becomes a fairy?

Oh just asked this regarding Rumple on another board. WHY is he not turning in to the cursed Rumplestiltzkin now that magic is in Storybrook ? But maybe your right in that its just a matter of time..
Sidney Glass, he was trapped in the mirror.. then trapped in jail cell… maybe someone DID set him free and we just havent seen it because its not that relevant too the story. Then because he thinks ‘Yes ! finally free, not trapped to the mirror anymore’ he wants to NOT go back too Regina, but then later on if magic becomes stronger with the passing of time, all the cursed.. like Sidney and Rumple, will turn back in to their cursed form. And so Sidney will be trapped behind the mirror again- poor guy!

maybe he left SB and forgot who he was but this strange connection with Regina will bring him back?

The irony is if anyone tried to leave Storybrooke they would revert back to their Storybrooke selves and thus wouldn’t leave Storybrooke anyway because that is where their homes are. Sidney was in love with Regina in Storybrooke, he even falsely confessed to abduction for her. If Sidney was roaming free around Storybrooke he’d be by Regina’s side like the lovesick fool that he is.
