Ruby’s cloak (goof or easter egg?)

I was wondering if anyone else noticed that Ruby’s cloak changed?

In season 1, I think it is in Dreamy, the first time David is shown to look for Snow in the clearing near the cabin, Red’s hood has this purple along the edges. It’s super pretty, but very different from the one we see in the main part of “Red Handed”, which is like the gucci red with the patterns, all vintage looking – also very nice, but definitely different.. Then in Heart of Darkness, we see the extension of the FTL scene where he’s looking for Snow and the men attack, so he scoops Ruby up and then later, she turns into the wolf and “gives him a headstart”… that is back to the red with purple cloak.

So, I was originally wondering now as I rewatched them if this was to explain the tear in Red’s original cloak (because I think that Red Handed AND Child of the Moon happened before the scene where David is looking for Snow in the clearing from Heart of Darkness) and that she needed a new one after child of the moon happened… and I was kind of thinking “oh, that was a subtle easter egg”… BUT then in SB when she finds her cloak at the end and it is the same one as in Red Handed…. not the one from Heart of Darkness… And we also see that the main cloak works in Child of the Moon.

Plus, we know (I think?) that the cloak is from a powerful wizard (I’m guessing Rumpel, and that is why Grannie is charging him for pickles in 208 ) —- so, it just doesn’t make sense that she has a different cloak, unless it wasn’t wolf’s time, but we know that it was, because when Charming saves her and she whips off her cloak, she turns into a wolf…
